I think it's more that carts burn out, and if you start with the lower ohms(higher heat) you will kill your carts faster. Bigger hits is no issue, the rev delivers wayyyy bigger hits that the omi carts do, so if you already have a rev you can handle big hits( if you can't load really small dabs :) )

OK, after day one I can say the rev definitely kicked my ass, this vape is no joke. I'm a fan. And the taste is good now.

Showerdomes haven't started shipping yet, so that may still be an option when your turn comes. As of now only the SG gridded tree is sold out, the Vertigo tree is currently shipping, and the SGW showerdome will be shipping in a week or two hopefully.
