No, the SR-74x kit just reverts the oil chamber on the SR-74 back to the SR-71 style. Not sure what problem you were having with it, but the AAF washer may help you.
You may not have the right size o-rings. They are two different sizes because the nibblers vary a bit in size. It should fit...
I went home after work Friday and put the SR-74 on an ohm tester. It read, unbelievably, 0.06 ohms. Then not believing my eyes screwed it back on and it read 0.03 ohms! So I was mystified, took it apart, reassembled it, and got it to read 2.14 and it worked fine. Something fishy is going on...
OK I'm officially stumped. My SR-74 has a resistance of 2.14 ohms but neither top I have will fire it, on batteries nor the core. The tops just blink a few times like there's a short, but they'll fire an EO cartridge just fine. Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?
@spoutti In your signature you say you've a "5400 years old Bog Oak stem" and I'm curious, what exactly does that look like? Can you throw up a pic of it? Sounds interesting.
It does restrict the airflow a bit, I will readily concede that, but it's worth it to me to prevent the leaking. It gets air in around the part that holds the rod. I don't store it vertical, but I do put it in my pocket, and I usually have it in a pocket that's completely vertical when I'm...
The reason that screen gets covered in oil isn't because you're sucking oil onto it in my experience. The pressure drops on the downstream side of a restriction, and pressure drops make things cool. I took it off because I hit it so much it condenses on top of the screen and completely clogs...
That's a judgement call on your end as we can't see how much crud, if any, got inside. If you're really concerned, don't boil it in water. Soak it in the purest ISO you can find to clean it, save the ISO, put it in the freezer. After 24 hours when it's thoroughly chilled, pour it through a...
No you sound fine. You should get a crappy reading, like a resistance of infinity, until it's assembled right. Then it should read between 2-2.5 ohms, and yours is. Sounds like you're good to go. I wouldn't try and fix what ain't broke.
Put the black probe on center rod, red on outer threads at bottom. Set multimeter to resistance (ohms) and the right range (should be between 2-2.5 ohms).
The short answer is: yes. Nothing compares to ripping a dab off a good Ti nail in terms of volume of vapor. The hercules tastes better, and it gives bigger rips for a portable pen than anything else I've seen.
Best way I've found to prevent leaking is to position that gold washer to cover all the holes at the bottom. You still get enough air for it to work right, and it actually gets hotter faster because there's not as much cold air getting sucked in. It does restrict airflow a bit though, but I'm...
Do you have a multimeter or resistance meter? I've found that to really help troubleshooting. My problem has always been one of 3 things.
1) screw on very bottom was too tight so it didn't make a connection below it
2) golden button was filled full of goo and was stuck
3) I didn't tighten the...
7.4 I'm almost positive. Believe hammer top stays on until you press button again, so it's supposed to be on while you're dabbin. You can use all their attachments with batteries or core, but I've no idea how long they'll last with that attachment. Sounds like you have to have a battery...
Thanks so much for the clarification. Do you guys think it works equally well with concentrates and herb, or does it perform better with one or the other?
Hi everyone! Hope you're all poised to have a bitchin' Christmas. I've been looking at this vaporizer for a bit, and I had a couple questions I couldn't resolve by looking at their website.
Since this thing has a male 18mm top, couldn't I just flip it upside down and insert it in a 18mm...
