So I own the first iteration of the Flare, you know, the one that doesn’t really work with anything you want it to work with. Have they made hardware changes to the newer versions or is it mainly firmware? I wonder if the firmware is updatable?

None of this is new. There were the same out of order shipping and communication issues with the Anvil.

A set of 3 replacement f-cores is 20 bucks, and should last you a long time. This is comparable to having to buy good quality butane for a torch.
