ive only "needed" to rebuild my coil twice in months, when i snap them. or tweak it too much when scraping reclaim.
i rebuilt my coils every other day until i started enjoying the hits
I just now noticed in this picture your left coil is touching the center post nullifying one of your wraps, hence it glowing more, yet not at all on the first one coming out of positive. in addition, this could melt your insulator quickly :(
its not expensive
you can pay for the "easy" of disposable carts or you can buy:
10 dollar ohm meter
20 dollars on 4 sony batteries
20 on a good charger
23 dollars or less on mod / atty combo on a budget
8 for wire and
4 for mesh
Less than 100 easy for a vape device that will last you at...
interesting that kind of goes against what I thought happened in my head, I always imagined a little bit of a "roll on" time from the battery current would be beneficial in slowly melting things more and more before it finally kicked on full blast. I had developed a habit of tapping on the fire...
well i can give you the brand name and give her a search in ebay. Orieco is the name. havent seen em here in the states yet. i also have up the ceramic type cup atomizer and battery kits on there too, but again im not trying to use this forum as a place to peddle my wares. i will tell you...
the melt definitely quenches it, and unlike e-liquid, concentrate doesnt put off as much vapor (at least for me yet, maybe im not hot enough :p) but in order to avoid any resin and burning your coils have to be past a certain temperature so the concentrates do not have time to resinate and...
1.2 ohm wraps do it for me for separate dual coils or alternatively twisting 2 or 3 wires together for one .6 ohm coil.
I've now run 11 grams through the same SS mesh wick and am still getting consistant, albeit muted flavor. its pictured a few posts up a page ago or so and a couple other...
Its pretty amazing. i think the high is intensified too but not in a way like concentrates do, it feela more like a medible high, to me .
Lol im on my phone and that typo made me laugh pretty hard. Im stoned:freak:
can i see a picture of your build after youve smoked a dab or two out of it. i need to compare how it looked to my silica wicks. my SS mesh wicks are absolutely trouble free and i only consider silica still because it did give better flavor. SS mesh tends to mute flavors for some reason...
+1 for twisting coils. i even did a flat one where i put all 3 wires next to each other and wrapped it like that. was very hard to mount and would have just been easier to twist but yea, its like having a 3 coil set up in a concentrated area, perfect for our.... concentrates...
the silica...
these fit better on my nimbus clone than they do the igo w, or at least the cheap single air hole version from FT. i have a new igo w coming in that i think should be 1:1 with the legit youde.
edit: im sure you can find cheaper SS top cap replacements, hell the clear versions on fast tech are...
sounds great. to preserve more potency make sure when you heat thc up it doesnt get much past 190 degrees, stuff starts activating a bit past that, but at that temp will keep everything nice and liquified while trying to evap any -ohols or -tanes
ya just some Lorann's lemon flavor mixed with lemonade and lime of the same brand for vaporizing in an e-cig mod. i was going to mix it in with this hawk sauce i got from mt baker vapor and try to come up with my own citrus soda flavor, shooting for what i imagine that kryptonite stuff to taste...
ive read of people using pure grain alcohol for this, just tonight actually while trying to figure out why my damned lemon / lime flavor wont mix with VG! (not water soluble, derp)
specifics i am not sure of, I have given up for now as I dont feel like going out in the rain for some : /
dangit, i wanted to try cotton too : /
for this go round i just put a few drops of ej mix in with my gram. let it sit over night and now i have a molasses like oil that spreads easy but holds.
i raised up my coil back off the deck again because i hated the taste of too-far-gone resin...
