I do not see a serial number on the cap.
I'm not sure why it takes so long to click, 16 seconds. I have to remove from IH after the first click on the first cycle or it gets a little too roasted.
Yes, the blinking and clicking you are descibing is the "glitchy" behavior when using the CaS with the PWM as we have discussed, do you have CaS? You may need to put more pressure to use the CaS with PWM.
75% on 25% off works really well for me and gives a nice bake, 4 cycles. I don't insert...
I think that you made the right decision to go with the hotter setup with the push button. That will give you a lot of control over how the load bakes. The problem with the hotter heater comes with the CaS in my opinion as there is no way to adjust the heat applied to the load by moving up or...
I've been preferring using the PWM and getting about 4 cycles. It provides avb that is like above without the black bits. It provides more tasty hits, but the CaS full power quick extraction is hard hitting. Just think I will find uses for both under different circumstances. As the battery...
@Vapefanatic i saw this post over at reddit, might give you some ideas : It’s here! I am so excited. Also very happy with my makeshift stand. : vaporents (reddit.com)
Yeah, I imagine that mug would got pretty hot leaving it on, silicone mat probably a good idea. That head is a potential fire hazard without a secure place to out it.
There is something about the way the weed eater head seats onto the heat stand that is so satisfying and it almost like it's...
CaS at full power after two cycles gives me really dark avb with some black looking bits you can see towards the top of the pic. I think I should try again and pack a little less.
It works great at full power, with PWM it is glitchy. It attribute this to the cap and the fact that I haven't dared to press on the contacts at all. I'll try a light pressure next time around, and if that doesn't do it it's the cap. I think I will find myself using CaS at full power when I need...
A little steel wool to the cap cleared up my issues engaging the CaS. Right now it is working quite well. I have to say that I think I will like having both the button and CaS.
Edit: on a side note I love how the m fits snuggly in the front pocket against the flite. Idk if that was intentional...
@TommyDee I averaged 4 clicks a session, and if I ran it a bit hotter I think I could get more sessions with less clicks per session. I tried to turn off between sessions to conserve battery. I often let the tip cool down completely, which I am sure increased the number of clicks per session. I...
Well ya'll have me convinced that the woodscents will find a place in the lineup. Now I just have to decide if I want to wait for the lite to come back in stock or go with the full kit. The lite seems like you get a bit nicer wood than the cheapest kit, is that right? I've been on a tear buying...
Flite out in the wild. IDK @dantemaniaco that Hunter Green looks really nice outdoors.
In my test I got 40 clicks (11 sessions) from a full charge using PWM at 75%on 25%off. That's certainly enough battery life for me for a day! Will need extra batteries for heavy days or multi-day trips...
Yes, so far I love this little thing. Truly pocketable, and really delivers. I still need to do some experimenting with pulling out early to extend session. Also need to try letting the tip cool more between clicks. I've found when I rush a session there is a chance of combustion on the 3rd...
On my quest to lower temps I've been running 610 but recently have gone down to 600 and it is quite nice. I'm gonna see it I can do 590 or lower as well.
Still love my flowerpot but VAS is getting me and I am dreaming of a microdoser like the woodscents. Damn, thought the flowerpot would be the...
Oh, I should have included something to let you know I'm joking. I find members to be very demanding of our cottage producers. The flite is barley out and people want upgrades!
