After talking with others, I believe I have the high ohm version. No resistance written on packaging and a 1.06 ohm reading after thorough cleaning and new clips.

No kief, just a bit of ground bud in an Alpha + stem. Probably .2g or so. Due to the huge amount of heat retention in the wand, extraction is about as thorough as it gets.

I think he’s more worried about the heat drying the wood and splitting it at some point. @oddjobold, as long as you condition the wood fairly regularly, you shouldn’t have much to worry about. If you’re really concerned, it’s easy enough to pull the wood sleeve off the heater to have a look...
