Well, my TM2 has a broken glass sleeve. I was going to send it in, but then realized how much it would be for repair (not warranty) service and shipping from the US. It's about half the price of the unit itself.
I don't think I would have too much problem replacing this upper glass with the...
I will wait and see too.
When the 9 came out, there was very little in terms of videos of actual use or even letting us take a good look at it. Finally, some users posted their own videos on Youtube to help others (like me) understand what they were buying. My hope is with the coming release...
This glass discussion stemmed from questions about the build quality of the rocket stems that are made for devices like the TM. I believe someone else mentioned this, but the beads in the unit I bought from Sneaky Pete look solid with no holes. They are reddish in color, but can't confirm if...
This has already been discussed, but it is exciting to consider how discreet this 10 may be. Looking at the battery compartment taking up most of the length of the unit, it seems to be a bit thicker but much more compact overall than the 9. The shape reminds me of a Dove ice cream bar.
A FW10 really throws a monkey wrench in my plan to save for a Bowle 2. Can't wait to see this new design. I wonder how long he's going to keep us hanging? MLK Day maybe?
I didn't think I would like this stem, but it has become my daily use for a while. I have a nice jhook to pair with a 18mm wpa, but this thing is so easy and pretty decent cooling. And they're $27.

Now that Marc has put up the pic, I can tell you. It is been pretty exciting.
As a beta tester for Firewood 10 I can say that I'm just fucking with you all right now and really know nothing about anything.
I'll tell you one thing about the TM2. You can run through a sesh pretty quickly and get what you need, even when you're outside and it's fucking -5 degrees F.
99.99% of my vaping has to be outside, which usually is pretty manageable if not enjoyable some of the year. The wintertime however...
Yeah, well it happens in the hobby. Sometimes pieces get shelved, only to reappear when the time is right. That would probably be a new top that meets my needs or like others said, when I need something on the road. Not many other choices. Puffco certainly isn't LLBean and doesn't accept...
There is a quick start up and use guide, but nothing covering all the functions included. I came here to find out how to use it. I think including a detailed instruction booklet would have been helpful.
My unit is shelved for now. I guess it's me, but even the lowest granny setting is too...
A follow up question to clarify: I read five clicks, while already in the blue setting, puts it into granny mode.
Is granny mode a lower temp than regular blue or is it just an extended session? Thanks
My Pivot came today. They got something there, for sure.
It's even smaller than I thought, which works perfect for me. This thing is fun and easy around the house, and will do well on trips in the car. The bowl is bigger than the Lightning pen and a hell of a lot cooler on the blue setting...
Everyone probably has their own ritual to get the results they want.
I agree that a good firm pack is important. I use the tamp side of my little metal scoop to press the pack down into a flattened puck.
At 320F, I will hold the button down for about 5 seconds before taking puffs, but not to...
