That would be great to have.
But I think I would just call it a smart pen, something along the lines of LiveScribe products. How else would you explain the fancy lights?
"It's a smart pen!"
A couple factors to consider: chamber load and temp.
Looks like it was set in the middle temps, so we are probably seeing the vapor cease because it has vaped all the compounds up to that temp.
I would love to see a video of slower fan speed + highest temp on a full chamber.
To me, it looks like the housing for the heater, which would be pushed into the body.
Edit: Or maybe the threads are meant to attach the front end shell to the chamber, and that 4th image shows an already attached chamber?
Grokit, I feel like there's a 4th variable, which could be valuable for beginners:
4. Chamber load. One Lotus Scoop is pretty hard to combust in my experience. You can get the AVB to a really dark shade of brown. A load that is above half the chamber has a higher risk of combustion.

I think it's a minor fuck up, they were able to fix the problem after all. If say they couldn't get it work with modifications, now that would be a major fuck up.
I don't see why not.
There's nothing for me to lose if I keep following them, well maybe a little bit of patience, but I'm in it til there's nothing left.
^That J hook is so beautiful. Some day I will own it!
Has anyone else gotten a wooden j hook? I've been worrying about ABV and resin build up on my jhook, so I decided to put in a cotton ball underneath my WPA.
Man, that was a great decision! Might have needed to vape a bowl or two more per...
It's very beautiful.
IMO, you should keep the heads on the screws. Might not look as sleek, but I would rather order the parts and put them on myself.
You're in Canada after all, which would be fine for Canadians, kind of a hassle for Americans. It would be 2 week transit on top of however...
There's 2 videos of the prototype. Here's one:
Also, I have never seen them talking about new battery technology, just that their insulation allows the battery to be used incredibly efficiently.
My opinion on reliability: The battery in your V5s will deteriorate after 2 years of use and that kind of handicaps the portability and performance of the unit. Portability because you would need to find an outlet. Performance: not getting as many sessions as you once did. With the Lotus, the...
I like the old plates because the lines helped to find the center in the dark. Align the lines so that it makes a big + and just torch the center. IDK how well I would heat the new plates in the dark.
If you have another coarse screen, you can just use both to get a "fine" screen. However, it gunks up a much faster than just a coarse screen or just a fine screen. I like vaping that gunk though, so it could be a hassle or bonus depending on your perspective.
I had the same problem, I am using a honeycomb AC with Jhook, but the joint is too low to allow the cap to even sit on the WPA.
It was really hard finding them back then, I had to get a "custom order" and it was more expensive than what Oregonglassblower sells them for now...
