Set the adapter to 12 volts and see if that will charge it
Center positive
Sounds like it's an older Solo if it works with the 9 voltt to power it
@Pipes makes power supplies that will power the Solo
And @CentiZen makes a battery that will let that model Solo run longer with his battery...
No green flashing light while charging?
You using the right Solo power supply to charge?
how did the battery look when you opened it?
And how's the wires going to the heater
Should be four of them if one is off the Solo won't turn on.
To turn on press and hold both buttons,

Solos were in ebay
Seller stated you had to wait 2-3 weeks to ship never even had any just a picture and when they "sell" out the $ is already moved
to another account.
One seller claimed they were in Georgia
The others had China.
You could just lift the stem a mm out of the bowl.
Or put a 5/8 inch screen in bowl to achieve the same thing.
Or they have stems with grooves cut in them also

If your happy with the Solo get another...
@SiDankies
I have not but does it do it when heating from cold?

Speaking of batt meter The newer air with meter,when charging does it blink through the colors as its charging red-green?
Like the solo will clash the number as its charging.
Bent stem is easy to control with the cover that's installed on the solo cap.
The way I hold the solo my index finger puts pressure against the cover and it keeps the stem from rotating.
Done it that way since day one The straight one too.
I never had a stem fall out
I broke them all for...
@Bravesst
Yes the o ring is an addition
I used it for the bent stem to keep from spinning.
No need now but if you do use it be careful when you screw top back on to tight and the tabs on the bottom where the screws are most likely will break.
@sundaddy
If stealth is important then the Air will...
