CarolKing and hi_there and @Mr. Me2. Ratchett said they had already sold 40,000. Nothing about 40,000 units ordered. There is no way they have produced 40,000 Hoppers. He also said 550 being produced a week. If the 40,000 figure was correct that means they have been shipping Hoppers for 80...
Your post is very confusing. Are you saying that Ratchett said 40,000 sold or that there were 40,000 orders? Hopper themselves said in the April update that there are 5,200 outstanding orders. So where did you get the 40,000 from? And there is no way that they have sold 40,000.
40,000 at 500 week = 80 weeks = 20 months. They haven't been fulfilling orders for 20 months, so how did you come up with 40,000 in the wild? It's simply ludicrous to say there are 40,000 Hoppers out there.
How can it sound "good" and be a "bit slow" simultaneously? "Good" and "a bit slow" are pretty much opposites.
Is this like "I believe in Jesus Christ, through a revealed truth", or do you have any reasons to back up your belief?
So how do you explain the guys who are posting on Reddit to say...
That's good advice. I love my Arizer Air. It's totally reliable, reasonably stealthy, 18650 battery, good flavour, part conduction part convection. Galss stems are fragile if dropped, but I store mine safely in virgin urine sample bottles. Many online shops in the US are selling it for $149.
PS...
We are now in April. so that's another estimate they've missed. unless you are referring to March 2017 or March 2018.
You sound like you believe anything you hear. On what facts are you basing you estimations?
You choose to totally miss my point. The difference between Hopper and other retailers is that Hopper doesn't have stock to ship to customers. They are essentially producing units on a "preorder" basis. So any addition of units to an existing order puts back the shipping date for everyone else...
Allowing people to add an unlimited amount of units to their orders is absolutely ridiculous. It doesn't matter if they're backers, retail kits, or preorders. The notion of doing this is unfair to everyone who has had to wait in line, and is an extremely dubious business practice.
1) Why would they be "waiting on parts"? Surely they knew a long time ago what parts they needed to fulfill the orders they have?
2) You miss my point about estimates. Why do Hopper advertise that a GH ordered today will be delivered next month? They have been doing exactly the same since they...
In December 2015 they said they were on the last 300 backers. Since then they've shipped a few TI's. So what have they been doing for the past 3 months since January? And they are still claiming that if you order today you'll get it next month. That's quite ridiculous. Unfortunately FC rules say...
I read somewhere that customers who buy from Vapefiend have to ship their faulty Hoppers back to the US for warranty. That clearly contravenes UK consumer protection law. If a customer buys from Vapefiend, then the customer has a contract with Vapefiend, not Hopper Labs. Vapefiend are therefore...
Where there is money to be made people will do it. If something can be abused, it will be abused. That's just human nature. When I ordered I wasn't informed that other customers could add more units to their orders which would impact on my delivery date. Were you? Just because it was always like...
So how do you explain the fact that there are GH's on sale on EBay? And what about the likes of Vapefiend adding more to their original order? It's the principle of the thing. There will be a temptation for customers to add more to their order when they get their address confirmation knowing...
I've been asked by a Mod to rephrase my previous post. Why do Hopper Labs persistently advertise Shipping Dates for orders that are clearly fictitious? They are still advertising April 2016 delivery for current orders. Is there no Advertising Standards Authority in the US?
I agree. It's...
Why do Hopper Labs persistently lie about Shipping Dates? They are still advertising April 2016 delivery for current orders. Is there no Advertising Standards Authority in the US?
