There is a screen in the heater cover and a screen on whatever attached. This allows you to use it at any angle without worring about anything touching the element.

I have scrapped the LSV water pipe adapter all together. I am now using the LSV with a Luke Wilson disc screen slide which is much closer to the heat source than the 7th floor adapter. I will eventually get a custom Spherical Ground Glass slide made. LSV + Luke Wilson 15 arm bubbler = heaven

You should have a screen in the wand and a screen in the heater cover. This prevents anything hitting the element.

For normal use I stick with the "discharge" mode on my lacrosse BC-909. It will drain the battery and then charge it back up. This mode will also show how much charge the batteries are holding. I only use the refresh/break-in mode with new batteries or older ones that show problems.

Yeah they changed around the description a bit. I noticed they added the line about the perm seal and removed the mention of other colors. They also named it the "Vapor Tamer"
