Very nice! Do you happen to cover the dish during your evaporation period? Doing so would prevent any dirt from getting into your runs. A breathable fabric(like pantyhose) would work best.

Have you ever done a warm water evaporation? Much like yourself, I don't have the luxury of going the more "professional" route when it comes to these things. I take a large bowl that my scrape plate can sit on, fill with microwaved water, then, I hurry up!... and wait.. for about 4-5 hours...

Amidst all of this travesty I would like to report that Cloud SN0917, which is an upgraded old model to +, is still going strong! :luv: I think it was manufactured sometime between December and January. So approximately six months old now.

Even chilled, I think(don't know for sure) ISO is still too strong and will end up stripping unwanted plant waxes and chlorophyll along with your actives. Keep your washes short, just to be sure.

I don't think that would work well. You need to get your ISO on and off as quickly as possible(30sec or less) to avoid contaminants.

Keep in mind that FC is a microcosm of Cloud issues. There are many functioning units out there that a performing flawlessly. You just don't read about those. "Squeaky wheel gets the grease", as the saying goes.
