This forum post if pretty huge. Has anyone posted how to change the batter instructions online? Do you know what the warranty is if the sound stopped working?
I have one of the first Solos purchased from K.J. Rockwise, but his website is down and last he has been on here was in 2012. Any ideas what I should do to get it serviced? Do they offer any service to fix broken units? It works, but the sound does not work anymore and the battery obviously does...
I come from using the PD primarily for a long time. Yeah it's good, but I like being able to adjust the temp and I don't really see a difference in my consumption between the two. I am now strictly using the Solo just because it's so easy to use and just feels better in my hand than the bulkier...
Weird. I use it every day and have not seen this loss of coating. I do see in the bottom where the plug goes in that the edge around is losing some, but not anywhere noticeable.
That's what I do to keep mine charged. Been working for me and I go everywhere. I am a conservative heavy user. I use everyday like 15 times, but small bowls. Have not had an issue with the battery.
I used to love the Iolite until I got my Solo. I will still use the Iolite in certain stealth situations if it is warranted. It still does the job I have always come to love from it, but the time it takes to finish product is a little ridiculous when it comes to other vapes. That's the only...
My bats are both snug and fit perfectly. There does seem to be a little band of some sort around the opening of the device that I believe are holding it pretty snug in place. If this little band was not there I feel it would spin like all the others are complaining about.
I am sure of the actual size, but they are the smallest brass ones that a local head shop sells. Fyi.... I got a Ups bill. Not sure what to do so I emailed rockwise.
Wow what an amazingly efficient vape IMHO. Definitely need a screen due to sucking up product in the stem. There is a need for different material for the stem as glass makes it look cheap. Kind of like a crack pipe IMO. Also seems like it will break very easily one day due to possible...
Just received mine. All my wife could say was, "you paid $269 for that?". All up until she tried it and was floored by the quality of the vapor coming out. :P
Well, I took the plunge after learning I can change the battery if I wanted to. Purchased this morning. Very nice to add this. I have a few questions about the adapter that will let you use while plugged in. When will this be available? How much will it be? What about accessories? When will you...
This is a complete deal breaker for me. The price is a little high and from what I read the battery may or may not last a year. What kind of use warrants this? I would not mind paying a small fee to replace the battery or even do it myself if it were easy. Are there plans to provide battery...
I will wait until they have a worth while warranty program. The original warranty still offers no paid service and since I have had so many of them break due to random issues I have a bunch sitting in my drawer waiting for the day when they offer a paid service to fix out of warranty items. They...
While I realize this is old. I would like to request some form of reasonably priced paid repair services. I have had a few die on me after the warranty ended and was told there was nothing I could do.
