this little setup is pretty damn incredible now that i've gotten used to it. it just feels so futuristic when you use it one handed and lift the water tool with your thumb. after some breaking in there's no longer that slightly noticeable taste of plastic or teflon or whatever. i reiterate...

i agree sticks, it seems like the unit is running plenty hot for the loose leaf crowd.

this thing is so awesome. size is perfect, build seems very good, love the feel of the device. water tool is very cool, well made, feels sturdy. ABV from a fine grind was very dark and consistent. the upper half of the unit does get rather warm. my only concern...everyone mentions it...

its going to be hard choosing between Ascent and Pinnacle for me. trying to weigh the pro's & con's of each. they both have an excellent design aesthetically. Pinn wins with stealth and water tool. Ascent wins with more temp adjustment and all glass path. still need a solid battery and...

are we sure it doesn't have passthrough charging ? as mentioned i also noticed those reviews on gotvape talking about charging while using....

this would be like an otter box case you could just snap the ascent into like a dock, but with an all glass air path inside. make the back removable in case of repair.

probably way too late in the development stage for this....but it would rule if the pro version had green led lights instead of blue....:nod:

so when i first got my ion, i wanted to actually see the visible vapor inside the gorgeous glass even more, so unlike the lower temp whip technique, i just started at 200. i gotta thank reevus. bumped it down to 185 and see i was def missing a little magic in the flavor by skipping past the...

before i picked up the mobius, i was starting lower, especially if using a whip. with the ion, now i start at 200 and then jump to 210 & 220. if you can see in my avatar (old glass), i'm just using 2 of those 90 degree bends with about 4" of hose. how are you feeding your ion from the Q ?
