Yea, in the Titanium Hand piece, your standard fine screen will do. Can use a smaller one as long as you center it on the hole and let the Ti pieces hold it in place when you screw them together.
Glad you got better results @Project_Libitina Once you find the sweet spot, priming and all that...
Congratulations on the new arrivals!
I know what you mean about staring into the fire button world and photos not doing it justice @Ramahs
Nice pull @Cheesequake
Looking forward to seeing more as they arrive.
Nice works of Art @Dan Morrison
Hello @Project_Libitina
Don't max out the heat, just keep increasing the heat up a little at a time till you find your sweet spot. It's in there, mine is right around 2:30 whereas a lot of others are at the 12:00-1:00. I usually let it pre heat a good while. Don't need to fill it with so much...
Agreed. Mine below.
Thanks man.
My Nomad 133 has the elements of my favorite ukulele. Koa for the body, Dan didn't have much rosewood on hand, but cocobolo is very similar for the fretboard, there's pretty much a fret running from back button plate to bottom plate, and the abalone for the inlay...
Ahh @pxl_jockey headed back to the end of the line, again. :p
As @Jill NYC said, you get a # to your Nomad when your name comes up. I think I got on Dan's list March of 2018 for this unit.
That's the thing I found with the dosing capsules and reducer chamber in general on the Plenty, the sessions seemed to end prematurely. The abv never gets the shade of brown that can be had in the regular chamber. Same in the Volcano classic. I can see them (dosing caps) working well in the...
Glad your back up and running @BluePhr3ak
The Ditanium is a strong hitting unit producing some of the biggest clouds that have come out of my piehole. :whoa:
Love seeing all these current units getting close to being finished.
Been doing my initial consultations and idea crunching e mails with Dan on Nomad #133.
Going with one of my favorite species, Koa for the body and a Cocobolo collar with an Abalone button.
Went with a calm under water...
Can you not get it back together again @BluePhr3ak ?
Put the quartz piece back on the nail, screw in that retainer piece, then put the output piece back on. Done. No? Where did it go bad?
Welcome @GalvoAg Maple Burl buddies!
Nice new stand with the Dimmer built in. :luv:
What has been missing for me @nadia_epic and @ACE OF VAPE is swag. The Epic trucker hat was available when I got my Nano a couple years ago, but not really my style with just the word Epic on it...
I don't think I made that conclusion about the .25 Plenty load hitting like .1 in a log.
But if your mainly looking for smaller and micro dose action, I'd go elsewhere.
Log vapes don't do that much at a time. .1 is a very large log vape load.
I've done a full gram load in the Plenty just once for shits and giggles. Give me 2 big sessions of .5 or four sessions of .25 grams any day.
Indeed you can.
My gong is a fixed glass one and I fill it about 3/4's full and just insert the tip of the heater. As the load is consumed, the weed line lowers so more of the heater can go in.
I'm back to using the Plenty as it comes with .3 - .7 grams loaded with the pad on top.
I can't recommend the reduced chamber because it seems less extraction happens with that in. I'd rather do the same amount that fills the reducer, in the big chamber with the pad on top.
The coil does what...
Arizer was a solid choice, easy, technique free vaping. I have a lot of vapes and still enjoy my OG Solo and the Air is one of my travelers.
Don't let the talk of draw resistance worry you, I pack my stem with fine ground and finger tamp it to stay put and have sucked down countless stems.
You...
Ill welcome my good buddy @pxl_jockey and all new to the list to the club and @Copacetic ,that is an awesome unit you and Dan have come up with. :o
My Nomad is out being a nomad in Colorado this week.
My Milaana needs it's broken glass joint replaced. Is it as easy as pulling out and replacing the glass joint? The glass just sits right above the heater, correct?
With the Nomad, the steel heater tube does not replace the glass joint, as in your stem does not enter the steel tubing at all...
