Well got my mini whips couple days ago and I must say I love them so far. It's made me rediscover my SSV. I find I do get a better cook with less stirring then a normal ssv wand. I dunno why 7th Floor hasn't decided to make one yet, I think they are great for solo use.
About the screen...
Oh. If someone actually burns a bowl in the VG (combusts) then there goes the taste as well. Everything will taste funny after that until you can get rid of the tar in the pipe by cleaning it with alchool. Maybe that's what happened?
For the filter itself Im not sure if the soot is only...

IMO if you can taste the "butane" you are doing it wrong. Chances are either you are touching the flame to the filter or you did at one point and it deposited soot. Both of those would greatly affect the taste you are getting out of a VG. This is why i recommend using a torch. No soot...
To me it looks like you stick the smaller glass stem (male) into the diffuser (female) and heat the outside of the former. Kinda like the glass vape (vape made by glass vape head, there's a thread) where as you heat the glass with a torch, once it the outside is warm enough , the air going...
I use a couple of these guys. Cheap and effective , it has a small torch flame perfect for the genie. Dealextreme has free shipping and is very reliable.
Sorry to nitpick but it definitely not a conduction vape. If you think about it , if it was doing its magic via conduction you wouldn't be able to hold it in your hand for long. While the bowl might get warm it gets no where near vaporising temperature.
And to tell you the truth I think the...
I just shave in the shower with a mirror in one hand and the razor in the other. No shaving cream needed , just a blade and flowing water on my skin. Works like a charm.
It very well might be. I don't have a Q yet in my collection so can't speak for it. It will probably be next in line. I'm debating with myself whether to get a HerbalAire or the EQ. I wouldn't recommend the DBV though. The horizontal angle makes its hard to use with hash. Sure you can hold it in...
To me the better hash vaporisers are the SSV and Glass VG. Both can easily be pushed past the normal vaporising temps and will give great results with hash. GVG with a torch means nice hits in 5 seconds , no pre warming needed.
Well of course it's all up to personal preference but i think it does a better job at collecting pollen. More screen surface area? Mind you I don't shake the box I usually just leave a couple buds in there for them to dry out. I'll grind a bud with my 2 piece ti SpaceCase and dump it in the box...
I'll tell you when i get mine next week ;) . Honestly I think they were put up yesterday. I caught them at 50$ but when i checked back later I saw they bumped up the price to 65$.
Personnaly I love my Glass VG , I bought this one for on the road. I do have an exotic as well but don't like to...
I was that stone :ko: lol , your English is fine. I just misread a bunch of stuff and got confused with my model numbers. I didn't read vtac's original message correctly and thought the pb207 was the Asian name for the gb2001 hence the confusion. Didn't catch it was the smaller torch until vtac...
The SV does not come with a GB 2001. The GB2001 is just the recommended torch on this thread because it's a magnificent tool.
As far as i know Ed goes through different batches of torches but they are all "cheapo's" from China. He was bundling these for a while. Works well enough but not in...
Good question! where is the O-ring supposed to go? I thought it was to put in the back of the thermometer to keep it snug against the wood but there was none when i took mine apart to fix it. I can't see what else it would be used for...
hmm it looks exactly like the blazer , only difference is the sticker. They could very well be the same torch , just branded for different markets. That's ebay for you.
