    Discontinued Elevape SV

Got my screens and spare cap from Joe a couple of days after I called him. My ESV continues to work well for me, no problems yet and I hope it stays that way.

Discoloration is a little off center on my unit. Sounds like trying to move the coil over a bit is a risky deal. Might be a good idea to get a spare coil first.

I don't leave home without my ESV ready to go! Bought an extra cap , screens and O rings. I always have a clean cap to use. Next time I take it apart to clean, I am going to gently try to center the heat coil under the bowl screen. Maybe I can get more even heat distribution, with a little...

Thanks for the advice. Heating does not appear even on my screen. I'll give the bezel a few taps and re tighten it up. I have noticed that my FV does get a bit warm with prolonged use so it does seem that I may have a bad connection somewhere.

Thanks for your advice Pakalolo. I'll try that first. Visually the screen looks good and there is no sparking. I cleaned off the rods with 90+ iso and it now seems to be working a little better. My FV is the original version. I had to channel my inner gorilla to get the bezel off without...

    Discontinued Elevape SV

For my needs, the SV is a great little unit. It works instantly, no waiting. It is silent and concealable. It is proving itself to be reliable. Current settings are 3, 8, 12 (with fairly dry buds, medium fine grind, no pack). I've become fairly adept at popping the cap, stirring...

My screen does not get as red-hot as what you show, even with the PA at 9 after 8 seconds. Guess I should install a new heating screen. What is the best way to bend the rods to remove and replace the screen? Edit: Found the instructions on the FV website. Should have checked there first.

    Discontinued Elevape SV

I'm having pretty good results with about 3/4 of a full load unpacked. Just level it out and put the cap on. Hold it with the led light up. Short draw to prime followed by a big suck continuing past the blinky light. Rotate the cap 90 degrees and do it again. You can open it up and stir...

Try a short hit, about 3 sec. then stop. Immediately take a longer deeper hit till the light blinks, or stop just before the light blinks then resume. The light should reset and light up as you continue. Do this a few times and you will get the timing down.

    Discontinued Elevape SV

Received the ESV late yesterday and had it on the charger till this morning. As advertised, instant hits on demand with near zero wait time! As mentioned, lots of stirring needed, the mouth piece is a little wobbly, and the air path will require semi frequent cleaning. All things...

I have the same question! I purchased my unit a couple of weeks ago with short tube. Does not work very well and I'm tired of screwing around with it.

About 3 weeks ago, shortly after receiving the S2 spacer/battery upgrade, my FV died. I contacted FV, returned my unit (body only) and they sent me a replacement. I received the replacement a couple of days ago along with a couple of top screens and this one works better than my original ever...

FV is replacing my deceased unit:) . They will no doubt find out what caused its early demise and continue to improve the product.

FV contacted me yesterday evening and we tried bypassing the switch (on the end cap) to see if it would power up. Still doesn't work. Like you, I've rarely used this switch but it makes sense to check it first. We will probably check the power button next. What I meant by "considerably" warmer...

My FV died today. No power/heat and the green LED does not light up when the button is activated. Made sure that the power switch was on and swapped out the battery. No joy! I've had my FV for just over a month and have been using it with the Stage 2 kit the last couple of days. I did...
