Discoloration is a little off center on my unit. Sounds like trying to move the coil over a bit is a risky deal. Might be a good idea to get a spare coil first.

Thanks for the advice. Heating does not appear even on my screen. I'll give the bezel a few taps and re tighten it up. I have noticed that my FV does get a bit warm with prolonged use so it does seem that I may have a bad connection somewhere.

My screen does not get as red-hot as what you show, even with the PA at 9 after 8 seconds. Guess I should install a new heating screen. What is the best way to bend the rods to remove and replace the screen? Edit: Found the instructions on the FV website. Should have checked there first.

Try a short hit, about 3 sec. then stop. Immediately take a longer deeper hit till the light blinks, or stop just before the light blinks then resume. The light should reset and light up as you continue. Do this a few times and you will get the timing down.

About 3 weeks ago, shortly after receiving the S2 spacer/battery upgrade, my FV died. I contacted FV, returned my unit (body only) and they sent me a replacement. I received the replacement a couple of days ago along with a couple of top screens and this one works better than my original ever...
