Nah the locking nut only works one way. The other side wont even insert into the SiC dish center hole. Edit: just took the nail apart and tried screwing the locking nut down without the nail head and coil and realized the threads were getting snagged about halfway screwed down. Worked it...

My coil just sort of floats around and the retaining nut is screwed down as far as it can go. Been pissing me off. I have to fix the coil any time I move the rig around ... which is a lot because I lift it to hit it. I need a ti washer or something.

My sweet spot is 690. For smaller dabs I'll go a bit lower but I feel like there's excessive residual oil left in the banger if I do a big dab at 670 or lower.

I'd have to agree with the quartz banger. I use one of the super thick 4mm quartz bangers with a carb cap and ir temp gun for consistent low temp analog dabs and couldn't be happier.
