I love my Saturn Vapor Tamer. I prefer it to the wand but then I like cool hits. I put my vapor tamer in a koozie when I pull it out of the freezer and it will stay cold for about 40 minutes. I've been using my vapor tamer exclusively for the past 2 months, since I broke my bong. I would like to...

They sell porous ceramic discs that soak up the oil. You put your dab on and hit it and as it melts it gets trapped in the disc rather than leaking through your screen. Or you can put it on flowers.

That's originally what I wanted, but my glassblower friend already has a bubbler that looks similar to the Mobius Ion Matrix already blown and for sale. I think the diffuser/percolator is slightly different but it's still pretty fancy compared to the old downstems I've been used to. Anyways...

The tamer would only be used to cool. The bubbler would be used to filter any particulate that gets through the screen. The tamer still uses the same screen you put in your WPA.

Anyone pair their Mobius Ion Matrix with their Vapor Tamer? Will the Vapor Tamer stay put with the Ground Glass joint or does it seem kinda precarious?

    Elev8 Glass

So I did a search on Elev8 and came up with zilch. Has anyone got any experience with this stuff from 7th Floor? http://lifesabervaporizer.com/lsv-glass/create-your-own-elev8-ground-glass-diffuser-base.html...

No. It has a diameter slightly smaller than a can of soda and it's about as long as 2 cans of soda sitting on top of each other.

Discontinued Thermovape Cera (Original thread, closed because of chaos)

Reading what, Bart? This $10 thing you are talking about isn't on their website. I didn't see it in the Evolution thread. Where exactly am I supposed to find this information? Oh and I bought this vaporizer in May of 2012. So yea your analogy fails, because Ford is still making 2012...

The Evolution never delivered what was advertised and sits in a drawer, used a dozen times, if that. 2clicker and some other users reported that the beta HP core made the Evolution deliver as advertised. I don't buy beta products but I was waiting for the HP core to finish it's beta. That...

Discontinued Thermovape Cera (Original thread, closed because of chaos)

In April, you'd have said the same thing about the Thermovape Evolution LV. Here's the big rub. In September, they announced a new heater core for the Evolution LV that fixed the biggest problems with the Evolution LV. This heater core was in beta but instead of leaving beta, the whole...

Discontinued Thermovape Cera (Original thread, closed because of chaos)

Thermovape Evolution was announced here on April 17, 2012. It's been discontinued already and you can no longer buy accessories, according to their website. http://thermovape.com/gen1-faq/#warranty

I wouldn't buy one of these. If it's like their other vaporizers, they won't support this in 8 months.

    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

I was just on Thermovape's site. Is the this vape phased out? I can't find parts on the store. Specifically, I'm looking for that high efficiency heater core for the LV that doesn't get so hot. The one that's for vapor enthusiasts only or something. It was $26 or $55 with battery and charger...

OH yea, you can use the vapor tamer without the hose. Just use it like your transfer wand.

I am a proponent of no water hits, too. But I use a little 19mm Male to 19mm Female glass piece. I put a screen in it and put my WPA in that. That helps filter some of the particles that through the wpa screen. Then I pull the stem out of my beaker and just put the M-F piece into my beaker...

I set mine on a hot pad (like for hot pans). I wouldn't set it on your crotch. That's the last place I'd want to burn.

I think you will be disappointed with the LSV, if you want a whip vape. It's brother, the Silver Surfer, is a phenomenal whip vaporizer. Get the LSV, if you want to do monster tokes with with a glass on glass bong. That's where it excels.

14mm or 18mm nail, how do I know?

A glass blower friend of mine told me that different areas prefer different size pieces. For instance, he supplies a place in Atlanta that only wants 18mm, while the Florida shops he supplies only stock 14mm.
