This might be of use to you, it is pretty expensive though but they do ship to Canada: http://www.namastevapes.co.uk/collections/vapexhale-accessories/products/vapexhale-replacement-screens
You two were spot on. I started vaping at 1ish and drawing faster and it's made a big difference. No over vaping bud so far and bowls are lasting much longer. I feel embaressed haha..
I've unfortunately ran out of the last of my material now. :( Will have to try again tomorrow. I might try to return it if I can't get good hits off it.
I try to pull pretty slow, I finish the hit in around 15-20 secs and it's the standard quick change wand. The strain is Sins city's White Nightmare which is surprisingly really weak; If I try to take faster hits at I usually end up with no vapour, I'm probably just messing up though.
One of the...
I usually start combusting when the wand is half full, if I vape 1/4 of a wand it's usually pretty okay, had a bowl at just below 10 and that was okay...
Hello. I just tried vaping at click temperature and I was still kinda over vaping the bud and was hardly getting any cloudy hits. Tried turning it up and started combusting at 10ish.
I see, it does click at around 7-8 so I suppose it's a faulty unit. :( Can this be fixed anyhow or should I try sending it back to the guy?
This is what it looks like on around 9:
And this is at full power I believe.
As soon as it clicks I could leave it there and it would turn a bit red. Raising the heat would make it turn bright red. I'll upload picture to help
EDIT: I've just had another vape, lowered the temp to 11 o clock position this time and while I didn't combust the bowl went pretty quick and all...
Hey thanks for getting back to me. I just checked the light is in sync with the knob. however I don't know if it's starting at a higher temperature than normal when it clicks, if you know what I mean.
So I've been using my SSV for a couple of days now and was impressed with it at first. I've been combusting my last three bowls though at the 12-1 o'clock setting. Think it's me or the unit?
The Da Buddha was my original choice of vape but at £150 everywhere I've looked I might as well be saving £40 and getting the SSV (albeit it is used slightly) for £110. Is there anything I should look out for when testing the unit?
Love the community over here. Positive vibes your way guys :D
Wow really good find you've saved me! Only problem I could potentially have with this is if it's being shipped from America and I'd have to pay import charges. Or are they shipped from within the uk/europe?
So I found myself a second hand SSV that the guy claims has only been used a handful of times and is 2 years old. Managed to get him to drop it to £115 (188 dollars), do you guys think it's worth it? Looking at the unit on pictures it does look pretty clean; let me know. :D
From what I've read...
Was just wondering if this was possible? I've read of people using MCT oil or coconut oil with cornstarch but I've got some perfectly good linseed oil that's not being used. Also if it is possible, is it better or worse to use?
As the title says I'm looking to get into vaping after using my buddy's volcano a few weeks and noticing the insane difference in length of high, taste and efficiency let alone the health benefits opposed to combustion. When I say comparison I mean is the difference in terms of performance big...
