I actually combusted twice last night. The first time was because it had been a while since I cleaned the screen, I pulled it out and it was about %99 clogged, this thing requires very little maintenence so it's easy to forget, at least that's what I'm claiming. The second time was me getting to...
I started filling my bowl 3/4 of the way with NO packing so I could just remove the lid and give it a few taps on the side with a knuckle and not have to use a stir tool. Lately though I've been putting a little concentrate with my flower just for walking the dog so I can delay the stir, I...
I've also noticed different material sometimes requires different temps. One other thing I noticed when I went to San Francisco a couple weeks ago was that the ambient air being drawn in seems to play a small role as well. I'm used to the %10 humidity here in Las Vegas and my same flowers vaped...
After being careless and bending my coil badly I figured I should get a new one. I actually thought my SV was still working pretty well even with the bent coil, I guess I just got used to it. I emailed Joe and asked to purchase a new coil and he was kind enough to offer me a couple of them for...
I'm definitely not trying to knock the Volcano pads, I'm sure they work as good as you say. I was knocking your statement about the pax screens not being simple. Your theory about the Volcano pad making more contact with the load makes a lot of sense though. Since I don't have a Volcano pad I...
IMO it doesn't get much easier then the pax screens. Yes you have to bend 1 of the screens, but only once. After you dump the load the screens fit perfectly right back in the oven. I guarantee I can load mine as fast as anyone else using a spacer. Plus I doubt ANY other spacer will make as good...
The 2 extra pax screens are the way to go, they are made for it and already fit perfectly. I don't understand why you'd use anything else unless you don't have extra pax screens handy. I've NEVER stirred my load and they always come out very uniform. My sessions usually last about a half hour...
I decided to give Daisy a try and oh man am I glad I did. After 4 days I'm in love. I can sip from her if I want but I usually just ask her to slap me silly. I was thinking about that "new vape signature" for the first 2 days but I'm on day 4 now and she rings my bell every time. She's...
I had the pleasure of dealing with Joe today from ipuffusa. I've deformed my coil pretty badly on one side now and although it still works fairly well, it just isn't performing like it was. When trying to clean the sensor I used the brush a little too roughly, it happened once when it was too...
Here's my take... Draw speed isn't important, just don't draw SUPER slow. As far as temps go, they're more of a guideline because as the sensor gets dirty the temp goes up. If I don't have my tools with me and I notice it's getting close to combustion then I just turn the temp down.
As far as...
That happened to me last week. I wasn't careful and clicked the mouthpiece to turn it on and it shot right off a 3rd story balcony right onto concrete and it didn't leave a mark on it. This thing is well built. It's been dropped numerous times and it's been submerged twice, once in a jacuzzi for...
I've only done it a few times. I put a tiny, well grinded layer of flower on the screen, then a little shatter and then more well grinned flower for it to soak in to and seems to work well. I've got some crumble coming soon and will try it with that too. I think I'm going to order some of those...
I've had mine for a couple of months now and still haven't hooked it up to a computer. I kind of like the OG factory presets now and know what to expect. 1 light brown, 2 dark brown and 3 concentrate. I really don't think I'll ever hook it up unless the auto-shutoff becomes adjustable.
I also...
I always forget to mention how much I like being able to unplug my phone (android) and just plug in the Elevape. It makes it so very convenient to be able to use the same cables.
I was wondering how small these loads were since I don't have a scale that can go that low. My loads are probably pretty close to that since I don't pick it too tight. Being able to milk .05 as much as I do is just crazy. This thing is unbelievably efficient with flower.
Finding the right size screen to wedge in there doesn't seem like it would be super hard. Finding the screen size that they did and then having to drill a hole perfectly in the center is tougher I would think. Plus the screens without the hole in the middle would be cheaper to buy, so much so...
I don't think getting it out to clean would be too hard once you find the right bend on a paper clip, which would fit through the wide air path openings from below. Do you think aerodynamics would come in to play at all with a flat screw vs the current rounded screw? Or is the air moving too...
What about just getting rid of the screw? If the rim on that was just a smidge bit taller and we had screens that were just a bit bigger than the diameter then they could just be wedged in, like with the old school little metal hand pipes.
edit: Maybe even put a little lip on the rim to help...
