I totally get your point, but over here, it really is common place to mix flower and tobacco. Maybe it's because there was more hash available than good flower a couple of years back π€·ββοΈ or maybe just to save some weed and money, since it was and still is illegal in most parts of Europe...
...the visual and functional difference is in the top part. The integrated stem has one small round hole and a "slit" visible in each "window" for air intake control. So you're able to set 3 different air flow levels. With the og stem, you don't have these slits or holes. It's more like a "gap"...
π€ ...valid point!
I have to experiment a bit more on this front. ...possible my inhale speed/ force increases over the draw  but I would also say, that I draw pretty slow and constant.
Do you get an even roast through your bowl? How far do you take your extraction, in terms of avb color?
I tried different single jet torches...nothing too big or powerful π ...inner blue flame set to appr. 1cm to 1.5cm
Edit: I have a ronx dual flame too, that I use for the anvil...but that seems a little overpowered to me
After a few days of use and getting the feel of it slightly better, I still like the convector π
Since I only have a Tip and Cap in a dimpled glass stem, I can't comment a lot on build quality... For me and my use it's fine. It's nothing fancy, but it does perform pretty well IMO.
My only real...
I had the opportunity to grab a convector Tip and Cap and thanks to all of the nice encouraging replies I got here, I just had to get it :D ...thx to @oddjobold, btw π
Haven't spent much time with it yet and I combusted once, but all in all, I have to say that I can see me liking that little...
I 100% agree to this!
My daily driver is the revolve gen 2 with a TI Tip and a "normal" captive Cap (before that, it was the gen 1π)... I usually use it with my vapoven IH and it's just absolutely great!
I too bust out the anvil, pretty regularly, but not daily. I love it, too!
Like I...
My two Cents here...
I own a couple of dynavaps, which I love and use quite a lot.
I own the anvil for about a year now and just received a Dani yesterday, so not much experience with the latter.
For me a dynavap and the anvil and I supose, the Dani, are different use cases. I assume it for the...
I totally agree...with hash it is even more so, that I'm fully programmed on hash+tobacco π€¦π€·ββοΈ ... I don't even really enjoy it mixing with Weed, since I love that unique flavor profile of hash...the tobacco is just "Background", if you're already a smoker. But, to be honest, it is soooo bloody...
It wasn't unreasonable at all π
You May never fully convert all THCa to THC during vaping or smoking and I'm a big believer in the so called "Entourage effect" (whatever that term exactly means) ... Different strains, sometimes even different parts of one plant vary in their composition of...
If that hemp tests at 25% THCa, you should get pretty high on that one !
THCa converts to THC by a process called decarboxylation, which basically means you heat it and the "acid-part" separates from the THC and voila, you got your good old Delta 9 π
Cool thread! π
I too struggle with my full transition from smoking to vaping :bang:
I'm 100% sure the main problem is the mixing with tobacco. I started smoking at a very young age and never really managed to get rid of that stupid addiction! I pretty much replaced my cigarette smoking with...
Hi there πβοΈ
I'm not sure If I fully understand the convector π€ ... I read most of the posts here and watched a couple of videos...
Is there no "indicator" you reached vaping temperature range at all?
What's the principle of Heat Retention in the Cap? Is it Kind of filled with Something?
I'm...
For me, what always was a winner in my "on-and-off-combustion" Journey, is either a dynavap (ideally with a revolve stem), or the crafty+ π
The DV maybe needs a bit too much involment, but I love it still. My anvil also is very much in rotation as well as my og tinymight... But I still pull out...
...what do you expect by cooling the condenser? I'm not sure if I understand the intention... Do you expect cooler vapor?
If yes, I think this would only work for one heating cycle, since the temperature transfer in the revolve works so well.
Other than that, I think (but I'm Not Sure, it's only...
...confiscation is the minimum π
In this Case I already contacted the carrier service (I think it was UPS) and the customs service to ask about why it was held at customs for over a week...
And I played the innocent customer who couldn't understand what he did wrong and told them I was a...
That's a real bummer, man!
I totally get you! I'm from Austria and I had my fair share of trouble with my orders from outside EU!
But I also ordered directly from Mad Heaters two times now and it reached me within days every time and with absolutely no issues at customs. Of course I had to pay...
Not really. The main difference between DAT and DRC is that with the DAT the vapor is not directed over the cooling Helix, but directly through the center of it. The DRC is closed on top, the DAT is a Tube.
If you completely close the DRC you can't vape π
