I'm a Dynavap and PAX fan as well. I use the Pax3 anytime I'm out or traveling, but nothing hits like a Dynavap.

There are quite a few on ebay... if you watch for a bit you can get some good deals.

Yep, I can see myself chasing wood. You know, that doesn't sound right... Are you pushing it all the way past the contour of the stem? Basically, you push it as far as it will go. It works really well for me.

I received my Shadow M and a new Ti tip and cap that I wanted to try on my 2018 M. Wow! For me the Ti tip makes a massive difference. It may have to do with how I naturally draw, but well beyond worth it for me. I put the screen at the smallest setting and it's a perfect microdoser...

I need to quit reading this thread... I've only had an 2018 M for a month and I've just ordered a Shadow and a Titanium tip... and I'm itching to buy an XL Omnivap or whatever the top combo is. And a PSM while I'm at it...

I'm thinking the engineers placed the safety shut-off there to prevent overload conditions... otherwise, well, without the safety shut off you could actually overload it.

It has a 5 cycle shutdown. I'm not an engineer, but I can assume that's there for the protection of the system. If you aren't bypassing that, it seems to me it's not an actual overdrive issue.

Well, the thing is the SJK thing works. And for most people, buying something that does what they actually need it to do is more than "good enough."

I still love this thing! I'm not a big fan of heating with the lighter... Old hands and all that makes the consistency of heating with a lighter pretty happenstance. This just works. I typically go a second or so past the click and I get great consistent results. I hope these guys are...
