you can always change the batteries yourself......if by the time warranty is over. I don't see that to be any sooner than 2 years. I'm sure there will be aftermarket batteries and information how to change them by that time.

I also got that "error 004" code after a big hit but it came up only for a second. hope it's nothing to worry about......it's already a week old replacement.

at 200C it doesn't always vibrate when desired temp is reached..... anyone else?

I saw "err 004" just for a second after a long hit. it didn't showed it again......it's working fine.

it's working, but still something I didn't wanted to see that soon.

tried my replacement yesterday for the first time. wow...... how fast it extracts the herb. after the 5th (long) hit, there was no more vapor (@200C). I get something more than 8 hits on the solo for the same amount of herb @4. I also have to agree with someone who posted earlier that...

I know what you mean by paying return postage AGAIN. I haven't received my replacement yet (tomorrow maybe), but I'm very worried that this one will have a hiccup too..... someone over the crafty thread got a bad unit as a replacement ! I don't remember if it was doa or went bad a few days...
