I really hope he takes it...its maddening that there isn't a shorter bowl for this unit. It would really increase the efficiency and effectiveness with out the work around of a water bong setup.

It does kief really really really well. So I'd imagine the the dryer, more course, compressed-kief types would be just fine. Just keep and eye on it and keep in mind you are not using the product as intended...so if it doesn't work, or you ruin the screen, don't be surprised. God speed!

I'm having a problem getting my screen to stay in place. Still trying to figure out a way to secure it. Sometimes when I stir up the bowl the whole thing tips and it gets some good herb into the downstem. No good.

Although it does not take hash well, it does take kief really well.

Yeah that looks about right. Try turning up the temp in 5* increments. You'll find the sweet spot.
