All you really need to do is enlarge the center hole just a titch (like to 5/64 of an inch if you were to drill it). If you have something like an ice pick, you could probably use it to enlarge the center hole (but I don't recommend it on the other holes). Or, maybe see if you could get a friend...
Yeah, I'm from WA and accustomed to pumping my own. I remember once routinely pulling into an OR gas station and pumping my own, only to get chewed out by the station attendant, like it was some big safety issue.
Long-term pot smoking has no significant effect on lung functions: new study
Researchers studied a cross-section of adults aged 18 to 49 and determined that daily marijuana use over 20 years did not significantly harm a person's ability to exhale at a normal rate, which is a key determining...
Yep, I put pressed kief in all the time. I generally put in about half a bowl of bud, then the kief on top of that, then put a little more bud on top. Works great!
No video needed -- it's really easy. A 3/8" screen fits nicely. Just unscrew the tip of the mouthpiece, pop out the old screen and slip in the new one. See earlier in the thread for links, or search ebay for 3/8" SS or other screen.
Many people have replaced the stock screen with an SS or other screen (I used a titaneum screen) to reduce the airway resistance that comes from the fine-holed stock screen. I don't recommend eliminating the screen altogether, since doing that allows the fine particles to clog the interior holes...

I normally don't have the patience to watch a 17 minute video, but this one was well worth the time! It's easy to see why he received a standing ovation at the end of his talk. Of course, for the people on this forum...
Here's one more suggestion that worked well for me, if you don't mind spreading it out over time. Break the t-break into phases:
The gradual reduction phase, where you continue to medicate but gradually reduce over a period of about 2 weeks to the smallest amount that avoids most side effects...
I just picked up this article up from the Seattle PI blog, but I see that there were two articles linked there (although neither is the full study):

For years, smoking has been prohibited in pretty much all public indoor places in Washington as well (bars included, even though the tavern industry whined about it prior to the vote saying that it would destroy their businesses -- which it didn't at all). Even though I've never been a cigarette...
Three news articles I hadn't seen before:
Thousands of marijuana seeds kept in world’s doomsday vault

This should relieve some of the doomsdayers in the forum...
A lot of things are enhanced when high, but at least for me, quality toothbrushing etc is not one of them. I went through a period of years of progressively worsening teeth & gums. Now I always try to do my teeth first, then get high later!
They're also claiming that they are busting many more people for having marijuana during traffic stops, which they blame Colorado for. Of course, they are now "on the alert" due the more liberal policy in the neighboring state, so you would expect them to find more.
It reminds me of the finding...
Great quote! But there's another kind of paranoia I've experienced where something like a racing heartbeat (something I experience for a minute or so once in a while, even straight) makes me worry that something's wrong with my body (like a heart attack??), then the worrying makes me feel more...
Teen alcohol and drug use -- including marijuana use -- was down across the board in 2014.

So much for the Kevin Sabet (and others) argument that legalization will "put our children at...
I've seen lots of comments here and elsewhere warning that using too much ABV can be a very unpleasant experience for nearly six hours, but I'm not clear on what kind of unpleasant? Is it that you feel too stoned? Nauseaus or dizzy? Blah? Paranoid? Something else?
