Try it. I think you will like it.
I'm finding that vape is producing far less crud than combusting (no duh!) and that I can reclaim the Iso for reuse a few time and the glass still comes out sparkling clean.
I'd appreciate feedback if you decide to give the Sous Vide method a go.
Bill
Totally with you on the importance of ritual and aesthetics as part of the equation. Ryan has done beautiful work with these.
How are you keeping the hot end? Is there a stand with the kit (not seeing one) or are there favorite stand options. I'd prefer not burning down my new place. LOL...
I believe that when one vapes through water that the bubbling action effectively aerosolizes some of the water in the bong and puts some (small) amount of water vapor into one's lungs. Am I incorrect in this impression?
I would also assume that any other fluid, pink water included, would be the...
Thanks. I am definitely a "flavor chaser" so the all the positive reviews of the TM2 have provoked an interest.
"Harshness" seems at odds with great flavor and not having tried one myself I appreciate the input of experienced users.
After looking into them, the Venty isn't on my radar as an...
After 50 years of consumption, I'm still not sure how one defines a "session" in this context.
The math is rather different if we talk about the size of individual hits vs individual hits times the number of hits done in reasonably close proximity to one another.
I tend towards smaller bowls...
I'm slightly perplexed and perhaps you could help me out?
I'm seeing two characterization of the vapor quality on the Tiny Mite 2 that seem at odds to me. One is that the TM2 produces some of the most delicious convention style vapor of any portable on the market and the other is a knock for...
From reading back threads it sounds like the goals you sought to achieve with your device are precisely in line with what I would like most from a ball vape. Supporting a pioneer inventor adds to the attraction.
I have a question on the ZX Plug & Play bundle. On your site it doesn't appear from...
Back in the day, we would always "feather" the hash by gently pre-heating a bit and then flattening it out if we were going to smoke it in a pipe.
It has been donkey's years since I've had any Lebanese or Afghan hash. However I can still conjure the taste (and the high) in my mind.
I will need...
This is what I suspected. Thanks for the confirmation.
With the ZX, if I wanted to deviate from my general preferences and/or I had a friend over who loves big rips, does the capacity of the ZX allow for that (along with optimizing microdosing) in your estimation?
Thank you for the input...
Reasonable people can reach different conclusions, and this seems like one of those cases.
I don't think I'd wish to breath in aerosolized cranberry/lemon tisane vapor into my lungs either, and will personally stick with plain H20 myself.
Cleaning glass with precision heated Iso via the Sous...
A question about the potential Phase 3 options.
I'm in the market for a ball style vaporizer (my first) and from what I'm reading the Phase 3 vapes sound like they are right up my alley.
Here are my preferences, and I'd appreciate any input on which Phase 3 would suit me best.
While I have...
DVs are good with hash? Any special prep? Do you heat a small chunk and flatten it prior to inserting it into the DV?
I have an old college buddy who will be visiting with me over the holidays, who will be coming from Lebanon, where the Beqaa Valley hashish is legendary. Hmm.

I don't think I'd want to take whatever risks might come with inhaling cranberry extract and citric acid, no matter how minute the amount, into my lungs.
YMMV.
Bill
What is the purpose of the citric acid and cranberry extract in the bong water? Is it primarily to help keep the bong clean, or is there a higher purpose?
I do have a supply of citric (and malic) acids for making SuperJuice/PseudoJuice for cocktails, but for bongs?
Bill
Thank you for the tip on the screens. I checked and the pattern on the M7XL matches the stainless steel version. Thank god!
It was definitely worth verifying. Much appreciated!
The last thing I'd want to do is expose my dear friend to titanium. I had no idea that titanium allergies existed...
Thank you for the information and the link.
After reading the article on the history of marijuana in South Africa, I spied another article on the website that gave this sativa lover some hope.
Good news from 2022:
Thailand legalised cultivating and consuming cannabis this month, reversing a...
Yes, supposedly from S. Africa. As I mentioned it does not (to me) resemble old-school sativa strains in regard to smell or appearance, but the effects (for me) are positively similar.
I wonder if there are authoritative sources on this strain's history?
Bill
Are you pulling my leg?
A separate dishwasher for bongs? LOL
The Sous Vide method would save you on Iso. The Iso can be reused. I do so.
And a Sous Vide circulator is small and increasingly inexpensive. Did I mention that Sous Vide is the bomb for cooking steaks and fish.
Or a second...
Interesting. I have also been consuming (mainly) Durban Poison as of late.
I see claims on the interwebs that Durban Poison is a "landrace" sativa, but who knows?
It looks and smells nothing like the pure sativa strains of the Golden Era of Sativa (mid to late 70s) before everything was...
I'm not sure an ultrasonic cleaner could be "better," as ISO heated by Sous Vide leaves glass sparkling clean with zero effort beyond setting up.
And ultrasonic cleaners tend to be either way too small or industrially over-sized and quite expensive vs a precision circulator.
I agree that the...
