G,
You've said we don't need to clean it - But can it be cleaned (e.g. for travel)? Is ISO or EtOH safe in it? Any seals that will dissolve in it?
Also, "easy" to switch concentrates- How? reload or swap some tank/tube?
Finally, what are those eGo threads on the base of the cart in the...
Try dripping ISO through the cartridge. It WILL leak out the bottom, but after a few mls you should be able to loosen the cart. Do make sure you work over something to absorb or catch the gunk that will come out the bottom (and get all over the Omi top). You'll need to swab the top with more...
Guys,
The 15mm round by 15mm long is the most common size. If you can't easily grind it down, you can search for smaller ones (I have some that are 12mm around), but the size is rarely mentioned.
There is an easier to "fix": (and higher quality AND SAFER) part available...
Having done that and had the ISO containing bottle tip into the water once, creating a serious mess in the sink, I use a bottle top with a small hole and leave the small vent open (if it tips, little or nothing passes through, so far). The clean up to be avoided can be significant.
Yes, and it...
?finalize the IC?
Does this mean yet another head from the V2.x Omi's? What exactly will be in this package? All we've seen so far is pictures of tattoo power supplies (like the log vape people use) and a hand with a Persei. Will the base be an entire unit like the TV PA or will it be a...
Discussion, disagreement, argument, debate, fight - definitions abound.
Nearly everything on FC is part of a discussion. Many postings express disagreement. When any participant provides a rationale and/or cites facts which are not agreed upon, we have an argument. If some or any third...
G,
If we use the rules of common political argument, you "won" when OF deigned to respond to your "counter-example". If we try and stay on the high road of logical philosophical argument, you didn't even reach the level of propaganda when you proposed a counter-example as refutation of a...
Looks like we may get an official answer :)
The R/C guys do use standard cells sometimes. Here's a 15c LiFePO4 18650 flat top:

I'm pretty sure the 80c packs I've seen in hobby stores have 18650s inside...
I've noted them before (on Omicron thread). I don't have a pair, but they are a bit over half the cost of IMRs from D9 and about the same price as the protected ones from madvapes (_assuming_ 10% of D9 w/ "WTRACKER" and 20% off Innovapor w/ "ECF20" and 5% off madvapes w/ ?"ECF5").
I've never...
The batteries do exists and are sold with/for the Ultra.

Two LV DARTS - both between 1.5 and 1.6 Ohms (the older one, with two spaces on each side is ~1.6, the newer one with a single space on one side of the ceramic is very close to 1.5 - probably both within tolerances).

Back to back, so EDIT:
Sean is a nice guy, but I don't think he...
I believe you. But I get a completely different view measuring from outside these 2.4 carts I've been using. I guess I need to try and open one or two carefully and look inside. Besides, I want to see what the wick looks like after alcohol "cleaning" - at least one 4 Ohm did recover. Maybe...
I think the luck of two meters reading .01v apart is just that. Yes, I have the "good" leads (many sets for different uses), but they're in the drawer still :) I also have some old Tek gear that hasn't been used this century that should be close to 4 digits (and will heat my house too). Using...
Just to check with all the discussion of meters, I pulled out a Elenco freq. meter (nice for inductance and freq, but I mostly use the Fluke - I like auto-ranging) and a pair of old RS analog meters. All read the same (after adjusting the RS' zero points) AND two unused 2.4 Ohm carts FROM THE...
I've seen a few times stated that the Omi carts have two heaters of the same resistance. However, this doesn't match what I have measured on "reclaimed" carts. As JAM suggested a while ago, carts might be soaked in alcohol. The posts here at FC have said ISO, but I used 190 Everclear - 6 carts...
The long SS tube might not be able to do both 2x 18350s and a single 18650 without some so far unlisted (or considered) caveats. Just for a start, I see that a pair of Trustfire 18350s from a Persei kit are about 8mm longer than a AW IMR 18650 - That's quite a bit of spring space needed there...
Well, my PD logo is not quite right also, though I just don't look at it much - It JUST WORKS :)
My Persei logo never lined up with the buttons on the tops - I didn't know that they should.
But for the Omi V2.x with HVD, G promised us "early adopters" a new matching tube with our fixed HVD...
