Just noticed that after two weeks of regular use, both of my stock stems have hairline fractures parallel to the direction of the stem. Neither effect performance, and neither can be felt. Surprisingly, neither are on the seam either. Has anyone else noticed this? Oh well, I have new stems...

What kind of weird things? I'll usually plug in my Solo and head off to work, or bed. It's only recharging for the first 1-3 hours, but may stay plugged in for 8-12 hours. Is this not recommended as a sustainable routine?

Did they happen to mention the GonG Turbo version at all in your correspondence?

Thinking out loud... I wonder if our airflow vs. tight-fit issues could be resolved with rifling around the outside of the bottom end of the stem. That way it could fit snug and allow air to pass more effectively than with just the notches Ed and PV are experimenting with.

For those who charge after every use (while remembering to do a full cycle once a month), how much time do you allow for cool-down? I've heard plugging in a hot battery is also degenerative.

Good stuff everyone. Now I'm going to ask a slightly different question: What's the deal with over charging? If I charge it overnight and it's sitting fully-charged for 4 hours, am I causing added wear?

This is what the majority of what I've read says, but I've heard the contrary as well. Mine comes in today, and I intend to keep it on my phone's schedule. Tuck it in to a charger every night before bed. It will be used for 2-3 sessions per day. Does this sound reasonable?
