smaller chamberr usually means thicker vapor, but big chambers can still be fun to fill with vapor ad clear.
with larger chamers theres more air that can get mixed in with the vapor, and more air you have to remove befor you get the hte vapor. also some may argue that larger chambers have more...
the buildup in your vape tube is the plant resin. vapor is merely boiledplant resins from trichomes. the plant resins are not water soluble, unlike the tars from smoking, and are removed from your lungs with mucus

i think the vg is quite efficient, it can produce vapor from a barely covered screen and extracts the herb very well,gives massive hits if you do it right
what i would really like to see is a small variable speed fan/pump that attaches to the end of a whip and pumps the vapor into a bag, effectively converting your whip/direct draw vape of choice into a bag blower
the purer taste doesnt have as much to do with materials as you think, the primary thing that would allow it to be tastier than other vapes is the heating mass and the huge amount of surface area the air is exposed to, which creates very evenly heated air, thus there isnt hotter than favorable...
