    Discontinued Elevape SV

@Shit Snacks: Here's a link to the ESV temperature chart I posted a few pages back. It was based on a conversation another member had with the manufacturer, so a bit speculative. The draw speed probably affects the temperature too much to make it more than a general guideline anyway.

Pro tip: herbie uses a standard power cable, like this. I discovered I can use one from an old camera, or the long, heavy-duty one from my Nord keyboard. So check around the house, you might already have a spare herbie cable!!!

Good point, gangababa! I should have said—mirror neurons are proof that empathy STARTS at the neuronic level. Two articles on mirror neurons: a general summary, and their role in birdsongs.

Here's a pic of my walnut FW 2.1 with a blackwood e-nano stem from Ed's Tnt. Has anyone asked Marc if he could use some of Snappo's exotic wood to make a FW? This is just out of curiosity and the benefit of others—I'm too happy with my FW to need another!

There's practically as many ways to connect herbie<>GonG as there are herbie owners out there. GBD (glassblowersdirect.com) or ioffer.com (search for 18mm glass) both have a good selection of GonG adapters. I use a low-profile 18mm male/14mm female GonG attached directly to the herbie bowl with...

    Storage Ideas

People commented on a pic I had in the herbie thread, so I figured I'd share here for all... I'm digging this Totally Bamboo 3-Tiered Salt Box for my day-to-day storage needs—useful for holding ground herb, whole nugs and ABV (in the larger bottom tier). Pictured here with small CVault, SC...

I've got one, and I like it a lot! I don't have another hydratube to compare, but it takes very little water and has no splashback. Overall, the piece feels very solid and well made. It sits very comfortably on my herbie! Anyone try that fritted hydratube?

    Firewood Vaporizer

Many very tasty vapes have SS bowls/screens, as do the nylon UD stem and Ed's stems. I've never noticed steel or nylon affecting taste, but there's probably a thread for super-tasters somewhere in the evolving vapor bible we call FC. Wooden stems affect flavor, but I think that's kind of the...

@stuartambient, yup, that's the nylon UD stem. My old nylon PD stems work too, but they're slightly looser in the FW. @TheDudeNextDoor, I have you to thank (blame?) for reminding me about Ed's stems! I ordered a beautiful blackwood stem for my nano, which also fits the FW (using a little...

Agreed @kazz, probably not too exact, but gets us in the ballpark. I suspect the company is reluctant to post figures because the actual temp will vary dependent on draw speed, moisture, density, etc. What these temps do tell me though, is that I probably want to lower my settings of 18/22/26 a...
