I think the sublimate occurs faster with the UFO because mine spills out. Even if I clean the whole unit. And I think it's because you have to torch the whole unit all the time that the oil drips down faster and is maybe heated more? I find I get easily 1 gram every 14g. I have a massive glob...

You don't need a temp gun with the Sputnik..that's the fun! You get a tech down and it works perfect every time! It's not scared of that torch flame! It loves it! I say heat it up till you combust to know it limits. I can go from Brown pucks of ABV coming out, to nice lightly toasted sessions...

The chain is like any chrome chain, just use pliers or rip it off. Don't worry about breaking the link, you can use any link to reattach it if need be. Just make sure you have good pliers for holding the heater after. I have never used the chain and probably will never use it.

Belive me.... You will want a plumbers torch. Chefs torch just doesnt cut it if you want any good hits without any trouble. I tried my chefs torch first because of convenience but it took to long and didn't keep the unit up to temp. Do 1min and a half on just the top heater when it's off the...

You won't be dissapointed....I set a timer now for 3min instead of counting in my head. After that heat up I can just lift the heater, dump a load in and hit it. Heat it up again for that same bowl and hit it again. Then I hit another bowl. That usually gets me where I need to be and in only 3-5...

Nope just a 18mm y adapter from ALT. works the same tho! I think recyclers are very good for subs because of how hard you have to pull. It just feels so cool!
