Doesn’t work. Outer diameter of Tempest glass adapter = 16.5mm. Dynavap FFP coil inner diameter = 14.2mm Tempest head does not fit the (first gen) FFP glass insert.

I’m one of “us” as well. But that doesn’t mean the rest of “us” who do not have(or enjoy) an electronic vape can’t use any other manual vapes out there, as an alternative to cheap/risky electronic devices. Or does it? Either way, I do share most of your concerns.

Testing it since yesterday… The Convector XL works fine with the Flare. The timer has a 10 sec minimum, so I would recommend starting at 70 W / 75 W. If you increase the wattage it will take less than 10 secs to heat it. Also consider how deep into the coil.

The springs from from italian Vapman 1.0 are the same as the 2.0. Don’t have access to my older Vapman right now, but looking at the 2.0 inner metal piece I’m guessing it does fit the older centerpiece as well.
