it is to an extent, it's a good indicator of the potency of the batch, and the buds around the specific part of the plant (if it's a rather large plant). the older the bud on the plant, the more likely the trichomes will be ambering before harvest (depends on harvesting technique).
but...
my grades have improved since i began using more frequently, but it has little to nothing to do with my usage.
it's all about personal control.
find what works for you and keep it working for you so you don't work for it.
yes, i do compare the supreme to other vapes that use a flame as a heat source.
actually i haven't read this thread in its entirety, but i'm the type to do so.
i have not used a supreme, but i have a vape that works on the same principles, and the reason i made my statement is that the same...
don't know about peppermint, but spearmint can get harsh on the throat.
don't do coffee, but green tea is great.
roasemary isn't too bad either.
next up is gonna be fennel.
in california if you are a patient you can grow your own, if you're not a patient you can still grow, but only if someone makes you their "caretaker".
Thank you for taking the time to add the content you have, and for adding clarification, it will be appreciated by those looking for insight...
thanks.
you did however state your claim in a factual manner, which i am contesting, it's more or less to help those who have a loose concept of how vapes work to understand what is happening.
because you don't feel the need to make the temp any higher doesn't mean anyone else won't.
as for...
i addressed this with the whole "(when considering active oil content as a whole and not the ratios of each)".
yes, these ratios will affect the "potency" concept, but the other points still stand as legitimate variables.
the ratio is a variable to consider as well, in addition to the others i...
vapor is a term used in chemistry to describe individual molecules that have overcome their attracting forces. and it would be impossible for the human eye to see a single molecule.
so you've seen individual molecules have you?
no, what you have seen is vapor condensate, or a fine mist that...
in the sense that cheap butane tends to clog all lighters, yeah. if it's cheaper to replace the lighter rather than use better butane, then go for the cheap butane, i have plenty of sub 1$ refillables that have bit the dust after using cheap butane.
the fact remains that it is possible, the temp of a flame is much higher than the temp required to combust herb, which is why it is possible.
while i do agree that the supreme is much better than other lighter-based vapes, it is by no means the only one that can produce a smoking-like...
actually the part you highlighted in bold IS the rule.
it IS the list of the two factors that must be considered when considering potency. (when considering active oil content as a whole and not the ratios of each)
i don't care if you've picked buds for dispensaries, nearly all dispensaries...
