So, I bulk ground up some GG4 last evening and Spaced Cased it. I used my New Vape Arm Band fine grinder and I still love that grinder.
BUT, I also love my BCG (fine grind plate) and am very impressed with the design and quality of the device.
Both seemed to give me the same fine grind and...
@NewVape710
HI Edwyn - wow, looks like you did a GREAT job!!
I won't get into the CCA710 stuff very much at all. I do have a Liger v2.0, 20mm and I got it before all of the CCA company stuff went sideways. I do LOVE it particularly after I bought the Obsidian insert. I had a SiC insert to...
I too tend to put smallish loads in. .15 mostly and I too run at 700 as set point. But I do cap. Just like it like that. Draw speed is incredibly important as others here have taught me. FP SH likes slow or at least that’s how I like it.
Cheers
Oh, I don't think I can unsee that! haha
@ataxian - hello my friend. I have only been to Newport once or twice and it was many decades ago. There was a great resturant on the water (I think) called the Crab Cooker, maybe?
I see now its well inland in Sana Anna.
I'm pretty sure that in the...
My experience with the fine grind is that the grind is indeed truly fine and very consistent and it does not need to be turned upside down.
I have not yet used my medium plate so I don't know how that grind works.
But, if I understand it correctly people with other 3-4 piece grinders (and I...
HI Muunch - its not hermetically sealed. So how dry you flower will be the next day if left in the grinder depends highly on how moist you flower was to begin with and ambient relative humidity.
Its really not about the grinder....its more about how flower dries out if left out of a sealed...
NO...its what I have been trying to tell you....please read carefully....this topic has been CONTINUALLY raring its head since the release of the Stealth, posted by others and here and on other boards, and well BEFORE your post which was only the latest installment. :bang:
As far as...
Brother....this isn't about you, per se, or what you were told by Virgil.
This is a topic that keeps coming up, like crab grass time, after time and from many others than you.
I think a definitive answer is helpful to all of us.
Thanks Nerissa.
Let's show it again in big bold letters and hopefully put this to bed:
I have confirmation that they are the same configuration, same hardware and software.
HI Edwyn - I was given a three plate set of BCG. I have, for years now, used only my NV Fine Grinder and then I traded my Coarse (which I didn't use, really) to another fellow for a Arm Band Fine and I love the extra grip area. But I like my BCG also...they are very different feeling devices...
Nay, nay...I don't feel at all afflicted nor any need for apologies. We just discussing grinders.
But I do wonder at time at people's emphasis on coatings that may/may not keep their grinder clean.
I would bet you that is hardly a chore at all....bit of ISO on a toothbrush and I bet it comes...
