Not me....I have mostly 14 mm but went in the other direction and generally use my 18mm stemless can glass for my Shower Head.
I seem to like a bigger rig with the SH.
Yep...I'm 700 with about .15 g as a load (1 and 1/2 of a NV scoop with fine grind...so, maybe up to .2 g). I would rather reload more often (easy peasy with a FP) that slog through too big of a load long after taste is gone. And, i think I get more even extraction but that's all subjective...
I have a Lucid Mini and it works great.
But these are all hand made by one person craft operations (nothing wrong w that mind you) and so wondering where the Dyna, UL approved, model is at.
Thanks!
HI guys - I did a quick search on this thread and didn't see anything immediately enlightening....so, does anybody know where George and Dyna are with their IH?
Back burnered, dropped, or imminent?
Wow, resurrected a pretty old thread...forgot I even opened this thread! haha
Well, a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then and my knowledge has def been refined by experience. But still, I would go for:
1. Auber RDK-300 - no too expensive, functions great, rotary dial for temp...
Oh, I trust you about anything you say about the Bay area....which is def not necessarily representative of the rest of the country, now is it? As a matter of fact, I would bet more crap has been produced and sold to consumers in CA's complete mess of a "legal" market than probably anywhere...
To me, its just another proprietary form factor with no performance or function advantages over more standardized 510 fitting type carts and batteries.
Just my take on it.
Did you send them pictures of the post RMA issue with the heater position? I have found Epic to be pretty good about CS so I'm a little surprised at your exerience.
@epic_arii @nadia_epic
I don't find too much of a difference between effects of conduction vs convection. YMMV but to me its more a matter of strain and temp rather than heating method.
I far prefer convection in my desktops for the generally open air flow, better taste, and more flexibility with load size. But...
I believe it has been discussed by Ghost and the community that when in standby mode (that is, after taking it out of shipping mode but its not "On" from the three clicks) the Bluetooth radio is still broadcasting/searching and if left like that the battery will discharge some.
If used often...
I too have and love NV Fine Grinder. When I bulk grind (1/8 or a 1/4...like that) I do like to use the NV arm band version of their fine grinder because it gives me a better grip area and is a bit larger overall.
HOWEVER, I do think my BCG fine plate provides the most consistent, fine, and...
Haha. Yeah, makes me cough too but I love it. I would main line MJ if I could (jk). I do like hard and fast effects.
Oh, by the by, I generally load about .15 g. Sometime just .1 but .15 seems to be my sweet spot. I would rather reload than draw a session out too long, myself.
Cheers
