Ah, because reclaim is enormously sticky stuff...second only to the contents of the La Brea Tar Pits...and is not water soluble. And...because Simple Green is water soluble and will rinse off completely with a bit of warm water. Just my take on it. Cheers

Ah, yes....trying to get 'trates reclaim off of the inside of an oil rig is my experience with PBW and this application. It just didn't really budge the stuff. I have not tried it for the specific you cited...stuck insert. Thanks for the insight.
