I mean it’s not like you can’t push the top down to q tip when you’re done. I’ve had opaque quartz, ruby, regular quartz, ceramic. Sic if used properly by far the best for flavor and good hits IMO
I have a Fadespace sic insert and it’s pretty much the only one I use now. I use on either blue or mainly green. You just need to make sure the bottom is smooth (a few had bumps) and maybe not close the top down fully. Leave a mm of space. Mine hits hard. I had trouble at first but now it’s...
It’s bc you can’t press the lid down all the way when using sic inserts. Also check to see if there’s a bump on the bottom of the Fadespace insert and if so he’ll send you a new one.
The opaque insert is a night and day difference to me. Mine is fully opaque but needs to be used with 1 or 2...
SiC inserts.. several have talked about them and some say they didn’t work well. I can only talk about Fadespace. I got mine awhile back and it didn’t work well. Then I started not pressing the lid down all the way and it hit like a champ. Fadespace contacted me the other day to see if there...
I only use the Sic insert now. You can’t close the atomizer lid all the way. Transfers too much eat to the lid. Give it a shot. I also use an opaque quartz insert, but I must use multiple beads inside the insert or it gets too hot and hard to clean.
I’m not sure anyone can answer that. Everyone loves and hates both devices lol. As time goes on I’m sure they’ll get much better. I can say that I’ve seen a TON more after market parts for the Peak vs the Switch.
Knock on wood but I don’t hear anyone else with these base problems (speak up and correct me if I’m wrong). Are you following the instructions, abusing the thing at all?
Someone was asking about EQ opaque bottom insert. Have not used it but I do have a crystal star quartz fully opaque...
If anyone’s planning on getting an expensive insert, here my take so far, and I’m by no means a pro reviewer. I got the ruby insert from constant gems (who adapt tech is unprofessionally blasting on IG). I couldn’t get it to work. The maker even says he heats it on blue and then on white and...
For all that say their atomizers don’t work anymore. Mine didn’t either. Until I fixed them. I fixed 2 now just by taking the bottom out, literally just fiddling around with the wires, and putting the bottom piece back in.
Exactly. I just press the top down all the way after I’m done so the insert doesn’t slide while q tipping. This is much harder with the newer atomizers as you have to push the lid down farther to make a seal
I just barely pressed it down, so the plastic or whatever it is isn’t touching, but just so the black rubber (?) portion still makes a seal. Hope that made sense.
If anyone has trouble with the sic insert from Fadespace, mine is working well now. Had to find the right atomizer (some of mine work better than others) and barely put the lid of the atomizer on. We think heat was being transferred to the lid. Works now.
Gives clouds the size of if my 4 year old niece tried to take a hit. I’ll put it on white and get much smaller hits than my opaque quartz on blue. Just when I hit sesh mode like 3 times on red or white will it hit but doesn’t taste great. When did you buy your sic? When did you buy the...
Design of what? The base or atomizer? I’ve tried 4 atomizers.
Yes. Crystal Star Quartz - fully opaque quartz insert. Best I’ve tried so far among it, ceramic and sic insert. Huge clouds on blue with 1 heat up.
I have a Fadespace sic insert. I do not use it because I don’t get clouds without multiple heat ups on red. I have tried multiple atomizers. I see people saying they get big clouds on blue. With 1 heat up? Wtf am I doing wrong? Standard ceramic and opaque quartz always give me big clouds...
Have you found that different atomizers work differently with the sic insert? I have one that I don’t really use bc even when I use it on red I get tiny clouds compared to the opaque quartz insert I have. I have not tried white but don’t even really want to use the white setting. Any tips?
