Is there a better after-market Wand adapter?
After breaking the first one this week putting my finger through it, today I've broken a second one that I had rushed to my place so I could keep using it. I don't even know what I did wrong this time, other than expecting a flimsy piece of glass to...
It's the New Peak. Thanks for the info, I hadn't seen anything about known issues. Annoying that it's the cheapest part of the atomizer that they've cheaped out on, and that is now failing.
Has anyone with a New Peak experienced an issue with the rubber/silicone that attaches the joystick tearing? I only just noticed that mine's torn half way through, it's hanging by a thread :(
The Pillar was such a better name. Although I guess either of them could concern you if you were going to read way too much into the 2 names when considered together.
Funnily enough, I've spent my Friday afternoon trying to figure out the Tornado with the Wand. I don't really need to - I love the Tornado with the torch, but it's compatibility with the Wand is partly what led me to buy it, so I wanted to at least figure it out.
What I'm finding is that using...
My thinking was that putting that much pressure on it might get all the bits forced together a little more tightly? But I guess you and Brenyo wouldn't be suggesting I do it if this were the case...
Are others having issue breaking their wand adapter? It seems just a little too tight. I've been trying to adjust mine today, and I've pretty much stuck my little finger straight through it.
How? It doesn't gunk up. It wasn't on, so there was no expansion or anything. I'm so confused.
Nice top mate, I feel even better about supporting the product now!
The Eagles aren't quite one of the more popular NFL teams in Australia, but with Sav Rocca and Jordan Mailata we have some cool ties there. (I'm not sure we claim Siposs after the Superbowl :( )
A lot of my thinking has been similar to you. I wanted to love it, I wanted to enjoy it as much as everyone here seems to.
I gave it a lot more time than I usually give vapes, mainly cos I wanted to try all the ball varieties before giving up on it. And tbh I did find a combination of the SS...
Get in touch with @Brenyo - you have the burr issue, he has video instructions for removing it. A bunch of them - including mine - came with the burr that stops the head sitting on it properly, which is a bummer, but it's super easy to fix.
I'm glad I didn't do my block with the Tempest when I initially had some issues, and when it wasn't immediately what I thought/hoped it would be. It was so close to being shelved or sold.
I don't think it's going to be the one-hitter through a water pipe that I wanted/expected, and its release...
What a strange company Crossing is. Their partner retailers just casually drop pretty major products that we didn't even know were coming.
A few hours ago I received an email from VGoodies that Crossing has released a really affordable wireless version with a pretty sweet looking docking...
Great job with the video man, I can't think of anything that you've missed! Maybe some info about how far you've pushed temperatures?
I do have a question - how often are you balming your handles? And are you just using a micro fibre cloth?
Crazy how quick your impression on something can change.
I've been salty on the Tempest since I got it. I had the disc/spring issue and had to wait for replacements. My wooden stem was eating o-rings. I was combusting a stupid amount. I couldn't get the ball retaining screens in.
As of today...
Lol. You don't even have it and you're telling people that do have one about the effects they're feeling?
You repeatedly suggest that you know more about the function of a device than... you know, people who've actually used it?
Every time you repeat the "it's just a big Anvil" line it shows...
Among the many things that make me crazy is OCD... I can get the screen to stay in just by cross threading it and giving it a push.
But my head would probably explode if I tried to use it like that.
How easy are others finding it to remove the ball retaining screen? I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my thread, it just won't go in without bending a "spoke" on it.
That's great man, thanks so much for this!
I question how much difference the actual weed will make, it's pretty negligible with the other 20 vapes I own. But everything else you've written makes total sense
I got a Wand to pair with the Tempest. I'm following the temperature advice in the manual.
I combust following their advice on "Wand temp 2" every single time. I turn it down 50 degrees Fahrenheit, I still combust.
Am I doing something wrong? Are the instructions just rubbish?
Even worse when you consider that the "old tech" that the Forge was supposed to replace works really well with the Tornado, while costing a LOT less and utilising batteries that are accessible to most of us.
