@SquanchKava I could see that. Out of all the fractal bricks, the Maxx is my favorite. The canary is a great looking wood for sure. Ive got my eye on the yellowheart OG Brick.

@SquanchKava did you see my Runt setup for around the house? Page 66 at the bottom. I do not get any burn at all through water. It might be worth checking out the wpa, since it's only like $30. It doesn't sound like you would be disappointed going with an OG or Maxx though.

Was thinking about an alternative material also, and ti would be interesting as a special edition kind of thing. But if the body is metal, we would lose some efficiency since the thermal conductivity for ti is much higher than that of wood. We'd be heating the body instead of the herb. To what...

@shervin2 I agree about the brick being an absolute phenomenal vape. With that being said, my engineering side is always thinking if there is something that would improve the experience. I've been struggling to think of how the runt could be better, besides the pieces lining up naturally...

Finally got around to snapping a pic of my daily driver. Walnut SBrunt, wpa, 6in China glass bent neck water piece. Restrictor disk in and always corked up. Lighter is a triple flame wavy. I always have water in it, but I just cleaned all the glass and decided on a dry pic.

Nice to see another brick user using the restrictor disk with a big torch. I get massive clouds with the disk and my triple flame, and it's instant! Keep spreading the good word my friend.

My opinion, it's easier to get the bigger hits with the restrictor disk in and a large torch. Cool thing is yoi will develop the technique that works for you. Congrats on the new purchase friend!

Welcome squanch! I can only speak to my experience with the runt, as I don't have any other bricks. I've never had a problem with the runt magnets being too weak. The design of the runt may not be good for those with ocd, as the runt assembles slightly offset, meaning the wood pieces don't line...

@Vapor_Eyes I might give it another go. I took a dry hit to try and warm it up, but it obviously wasn't enough.

Curious how much you use the runt @Coal Cracker. From how everyone explains it, it kind of falls between the OG and the Jr. I've only got the runt, so if I was looking at getting another, I'm not sure which way to go.

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but I switched up my heating method while using my dynacoil. I've started to heat up my vapcap/dynacoil without the cap on. I heat with a triple flame until I see a tiny flame ignite on the coil. The flame will go out almost as fast as it begins...

Does the concentrate pad fit on top of the screen or do you remove the screen? I'd also like to get a Jr for on the go. The dynavaps are cool for micro dose and travel, but since using the brick, I really dont want to use anything else.

Not much action on this thread lately, thought I would toss up an update of some stuff that I have attempted with the SBrunt. I still do combo hits, with a full bowl lightly tamped down, and a small piece of concentrate in the very center. And you already know I'm running the restrictor disk...

When using concentrate ontop of herb, I've got to change out my screens maybe once a week. It's all preference though, some like free flowing screens, others don't mind a little build up and restriction. I picked up 200 screens for $6 or so on Amazon though, so I don't bother cleaning them...
