For cleaning purposes only! My MV is awesome but there is still a very slight smell/taste to the top silicone piece. A water+soap -> water soak should take care of the rest of the smell!

I'd say so. Hard to beat an all convection desktop that hits as hard as the supreme. It's also reasonably priced.
