I'm pretty happy with my cleaning routine although the very bottom of the stem which is closest to contact with the heating element is charred black and seems impossible to clean. Is this stuff actually resin or just the glass getting charred (if thats possible)? Will PBW get it out?

About 2.5 hours for a charge in my Nitecore Intellicharger for me. i Usually get about 4.5 sessions out of a full charge although I turn off when it turns on at the red battery level. That is, not red where the usual 'at temperature' blue LED is, so I suspect it has another session in it.

I wouldn't say I've quit combustion completely. Maybe once a month or so I get a longing for a combustion high and dust off the bong, but the taste is always awful and the experience below-par. Not exactly regular though.

Just an update on this. I've now picked up a DMM and measured a battery after coming out of the Nitecore claiming full charge and it read 4.19v, so I guess this is okay? I was still able to put it in my Air unit itself and charge for a few more minutes though, after which it read 4.2
