Received my second Extreme Q today and have been playing around with it. Nothing quite like it. What a killer vape! Really missed it in my lineup.
My empirical observation is the second EQV seems to heat a bit faster and vape a bit hotter at the same temperature settings. :2c: That...
Time is obviously of the essence so you have two choices. Either flip a coin or invest two hours -- one in each forum -- and make an informed opinion. For what it's worth, you're getting "hot".
A backup vape is a good idea but you may want to try a different type. You can't beat DBV of SSV for whips, people swear by Purple Days, and as a new MFLB owner I (like everyone else) marvel at is ingenious simplicity.
You coined a good phrase. EQV's fan and glass system (Elbow/Cyclone) are unique in that you don't remove the Cyclone until the load is finished. Some people drop the temp between hits but I generally don't. When I get my "new" new EQV later this week I'll experiment more. Meanwhile, I'm still...
I'll have to experiment with salads. I usually use a single strain because I know its characteristics. Although with Jack Herer and Skywalker OG I don't see how you can go wrong. :o
I prefer the Cyclone bowl. That said, I find a medium grind from a Sharpstone grinder works best with the EQV because powdery herb tends to clog the Elbow screen which has a fine mesh. As you note, different vapes require different consistencies. I use a strainer for my DBV wand for example. DBV...
Don't give up. Arizer's digital LCD sensor reads the temperature of the ceramic heating element not the herb. Different strains produce variable ABV and impact the color and texture more than any other factor. The EQV generally produces lighter ABV than other vapes I use like DBV. The EQV has a...
I believe all cannabis takers should be allowed to travel globally with 1 oz in their possession and paraphernalia to vape it. Of course I'm writing this right now from the happy farm.
