Yes very exciting. Except the Pinocchio thing, does that mean rebuild kits aren't happening? i can't wait to stop using this v2 top. Misfiring, blinking, not working...if I didn't have the iris I would have definitely thrown my Persei across the room by now

Persei has electronics In the top. The 8 top is mechanical top similar to the TV line. So no electronics in the top. Also the Persei is 601 thread so you will need an adapter. The 8 is only available for preorder so it not out yet but I believe I read that it has the option to do 601 or 510...

Yeah I just know I saw a few people use them in the Persei thread recently and at least one possibly 2 peoples exploded so I just thought id bring it up. But yeah I can see it being an issue of the power supply... The other issue the people had was that all the oil would travel to the center...

Some people on the Persei thread tweaked the Kiss carts to use the ceramic donuts instead of the coil for a heater. I believe it was found that if the donut is dry fired for too long it will explode...I'm kinda confused on this because you said you've been using it for a month and self...

Yeah if your friend isn't worried about herbs, and isn't considering the cera it's really a no brainer as it's the herc vs the revolution. The herc is user serviceable, can be cleaned to new and will work like new forever, and can hold 0.5 easy and up to 1.0 g is possible. The revolution is load...

You might end up waiting longer doing it that way. Usually if you order something and a preorder item at the same time they will wait til everything is available to ship. So you might have to wait until the okeanos upgrade is available for them to send out your herc as well... click 5 times to...

That's the iris. The 8 is a mechanical top no electronics so no adjusting, except different battery configurations the hammer doesn't have an on/off feature. At least mine doesn't. The only tops I have had that had the on off feature is the iris and the V3 Persei top, which I had to send back...

It won't work with one battery. You want a mod that will boost the voltage. Those are harsh on batteries and/or hardware and not something they plan on doing
