3.7v right? I was referring to 7.4V usage. But you are right there are other options for 3.7V use but the majority of people do not like the herc at 3.7V
My advise would be to just go with the persei or a mechanical mod. You wont find a 510 battery with electronics thats capable of handling the hercules. At least that i am aware of
I haven't used co2 in my herc so can't really help there but I would assume the longer neck would be benificial just make sure it's not too runny..with shatter or wax you just plop it in
Oh yeah 3.7V herc on a shorty tube for the win:rockon:...doesn't beat the sr71 white rod on the iris but for those without it's the tastiest way to get your oil!!!
@notoriousLrg
Sr71/74 pros- large capacity, user serviceable, built like a tank. Works with all oils that aren't thin or runny...
Few differences, the sr74 has a spring loaded bottom adapter, and spring loaded center pin... Those two things get rid of the user assembly issues...that being said if the center pin gets gunked up with oil too much and the spring stops working you'll need to buy a new centerpin... The sr74 also...
And @darkrom
Here's the way I looked at it...yes, on average I got thicker clouds out of the cera... But to get those clouds I was constantly preheating for 10 or so seconds and the vapor wasn't nearly as tasty...
With the herc, no real need to preheat (unless 3.7V) and it's easy to get clouds...
Alright, first you have to realize the black rod is a different beast then the white rod. It requires more technique and patience to get similar sized hits...
Now with the black rod and 1 coil I would load about 0.6 g. I first add the first 0.3 or so and make sure to melt it in the coil by...
That's not the only difference between the v3 and v4 tops...the v3 top had a bad center pin or something like that. I could barely use it with any cartridge, herc or kiss or even TV dart... Instead of misfiring like the v2 top and working occasionally mine didn't really work at all...
I thought...
From my experience, I would suggest the hammer top, it's a good alternative, but you need to be careful with the locking button...
Your only other option would be the $60 warranty thingy but since there's no v4 tops yet I wouldn't suggest it
I know this is too late, but in the future... What I do when I'm not going to be home is leave a signed note on my door or in my mailbox depending on package size saying I know I have a package coming needing to be signed for and can they please leave it at back door or in mailbox and then sign...
Thats weird, my buddy just got back from Seattle a few weeks ago, said the bud was killer and didnt have a problem finding a recreational shop....maybe he was just near the one place thiugh...
Although he did get raped on edibles...check out this "deal" - three medicated cookies for $40...thc...
The sr74 black rod is exactly the same as the sr71 black rod. So that doesn't really matter...it's just because the sr74 is not backwards compatible so you wouldn't be able to use the sr71 to on the sr74...
But it's really a hard question to answer really as 74 white vs a black rod as it comes...
The main difference between the sr74x and the sr71 is the power the rods have. The sr71 has a lot more power than the sr74.
Also like it was mentioned the sr71 is completely user serviceable...no spring in the center post that can go bad...and similar with the bottom adapter...
Also the sr71...
Already been answered but I'll answer again anyway in case you missed it... The Persei is the battery body...it comes with a regular top you have to hold to power...that's annoying for herbs which is where the hammer top comes in. It is just a different top to swap out with the original top that...
Rev and dart are the same specs I believe so they should perform the same... It could be your battery is dying like @hoptimum mentioned... Or your cart could be out of spec (not likely if it was just rebuilt)
You can still buy one of the knock offs just for the switch... If you really need it... Good thing with the old line is it's all 510 so most mods will do
The bender is designed for herbs...with the Hercules sr74 it was more of an after thought...it'll work but not great and I wouldn't recommend the herc as your only herb option...
I would definitely recommend the hammer top for the bender, but I think you may be confused. The hammer top is not a...
