I use a max of six, 2 on the bottom, 1 in the middle, and 2 on top. A lot of times I'll just use 2 on top. You might as well buy a 20 pack off -bay for about $10.

Although I believe in keeping the Ascent clean I think cleaning it after every use is overkill. You might even be stretching and wearing out the silicon seals that your glass stems are inserted into. Just a thought.

Six posts up I described the the way I load flowers. You really should read at least the last 5 pages before asking any questions at all you might learn some very helpful hints. This topic has been discussed in detail many times as many others have also.
