On the vt75d if i get the temp protect there is no power going to the mod. It happened a bunch when i first got it. Sometimes i would just have to take the batteries out and put them back in or also unscrew and screw the splinter back on. havent gotten the error in a few weeks though. It uses a...
Hey again, so i finally got the hang of the splinter, and am loving it. Ive actually been using more flower than concentrates recently and im pretty surprised by that.
However I read that it uses glue(epoxy?) to hold some pieces together?. I assumed they were pressure fit Even if it is outside...
I went with the V2 not sure if the Z is that much different, but I dont think the cooling stem is necessary at all. Maybe it is because im mainly a dabber so im used to high temp vapor but I get nothing but cool smooth vapor using the stock stems. i actually wouldnt even want a cooling stem...
It makes changes. I dont have escribe in front of me so im not exactly sure what changed but it had something to do with heat up times and cool down times. One of the values dropped from 500 seconds to almost half. I have no clue what this means or did but my splinter is working amazingly now...
Blinking Rainbow or blinking Red or blinking some other color?
If its blinking rainbow look through the air holes on the bottom of the atomizer and make sure the 2 wires are still in tact. If they are still in tact it might just not be making a connection. Clean the contact points on the bottom...
Not impervious yes, but also extremely hard to achieve unless there are impurities in the quartz. Take a Quave Banger, heat it up red hot and immediately drop it into a bucket of ice water, Nothing will happen.
the cartridge Looks like all the other prefilled or fill your own style cartridges that are mainly used with distillate or liquid portions of live resin. And The high performance intake to me seems like a joke. Its covering the airholes on the atomizer.
Also, Id much rather have a cartridge...
Ive done this a few times, I found that the length the bowl lasts is still pretty much the same regardless if your using the basket or filling the entire joint. The only difference i noticed is that packing the whole
joint results in more potent vapor
Is there a good side by side pic of a...
Thats not true. Quartz has a coeffecient of expansion of 0. you can heat a single spot on quartz and then immediately drop it into a bucket of ice water and nothing will happen. At least if its true pure quartz and not mixed with metals and other impurities like a lot of china quartz
Yesterday before running the thermal analyzer I was using my mod at 365 degrees and 35 watts. I would have to preheat for a good 10 seconds then hit it 2-3 times before seeing vapor. If i went higher with the temp i would lose flavor, get hot spots if i didnt rotate after every hit and still...
I ran the thermal analyzer on my hcigar vt75d and it seems to be working a lot better now with my splinter v2
its been a long month or 2 and a lot of vaped bud but i think i finally have this thing down. Getting great flavor and no more hot spots.
Thanks @HerbieVonVapster and @Shit Snacks for...
For a small company their support has been nothing but excellent to me. Im not sure if its still this way but your supposed to wait 24-48 hours for a response and if you keep emailing it keeps putting you to the back of the line. Alot of people kept emailing regardless and it slows things down...
Someone took their peak apart and posted a pic on IG. The Entire inside of the unit was covered in reclaim and caused it to stop working. I could see the carta having a similar issue especially with the air holes being so close to the where the threads are on the underside. not sure if that had...
I seem to have got it working consistantly now. Takes a 5-10 second preheat followed by 3 or so long deep puffs from a cold start before i actually start seeing vapor but am getting great flavor and clouds visible vapor after that and paying attention to rotating the stem after each hit seemed...
Changed the mod resistance to 0.009. The SplinterDnac ecigprofile is now running too hot for me i turned the temp down to 325 but immidately got a hot spot. The splinter 19/19 profile is running to cool im up at 420 and getting whispy vapor. have the ohms set at 0.234 at 70 degrees both locked...
