It may be the idea of "a few finicky prototypes" that makes people that much more curious how it is going to perform, no?
I've invested in several crowd-funded campaigns, and most were not without hiccups, but, for the ones that were for actual produced objects (not, say, literature), they were...
Not to derail all the helpful suggestions, but if smoking is making you anxious, switching to vaping is unlikely to change that. Unless all your anxiety stems from worrying about the health effects of smoke and not from the effects of your herb.
Do you have access to some different strains that...
I'd support PV over other retailers because of their presence here (and good prices) but Solos are out of stock. Guess that's a good thing in terms of getting the latest and greatest though.
Y'all have pretty much convinced me on the Solo, but I still need to mull it over....
One last concern...
30% off sale at Got Vape, and the Ascent isn't eligible, but the solo is. Tempting......
Maybe I better read the 853 page thread before I commit to anything :)
Thanks for the quick reply. I meant to include in my first post that I'd been considering the Solo, but was turned off by the comments about its difficult draw. Is that really a non issue? My wife has kind of weak lungs, so I was concerned about that.
My short list is Pax, Ascent, Cera. I'm open to other suggestions though.
I want something that gives fairly substantial hits of great tasting vapor. I don't care if it's completely stealthy, I'm not going to be using it in public, but do want something I can carry around and whip out and use...
Ailanthus is a weed around here. Also called Tree of Heaven, grows like crazy- a sprout can become a trunk as thick as your arm in a couple of years. The wood is heavy as hell. Pretties up real nice, judging by Dave's picture....
You "believe" that other foods labelled as organic, such as coconut oil, are correctly labeled, but for some reason "all the soy is contaminated"?
Guess you can't argue with beliefs...
Just because Bobs says their baking soda is aluminum free doesn't mean other brands DO have it.
At least that's what I found out on the internets

This link actually has a quote from Bob's on the issue...
The minimum safe temp for cooking burgers , according to the gov. is about 160 F.
Well done is considered around 170 F.
You'd have to pretty much ruin your burger to get up to temps that would destroy the THC...
....it's just a literary style, you can't tell me it is "wrong",any more than e e cummings is "wrong" to not capitalize certain words. I don't think the same applies to math.....
From Wikipedia
" An ellipsis can also be used to indicate an unfinished thought or, at the end of a sentence, a trailing off into silence"
Which is usually how I use it.
So, you have a theory that longer contact means greater absorption. Seems logical, and might even be true up to point...
You are just increasing the contact time linearly, there is no basis for thinking there is any exponential increase in absorption.
Sorry I abused the ellipsis, but you are abusing mathematics...
...oops, I did it some more....
