lwien, thanks again, You are really quite a resource and always so free with the answers. I certainly appreciate it.
GreystrOke, curious if you found the taste resentful or what?
I'm pulling thr triger on new batts and charger. Obviously the Powerex 2700s are the best available in the States. I figure the C-9000 is the best charger. Lwien previously shared this with me. Thanks again lwien.
I see this Amazon listing...

Here they detail some studies that are openly contradicting the 2001 NORML study. This article points to several studies that all concluded no harmful substances were produced during vaporization. Very interesting indeed. There are references to...
I did, in fact, get that statistic from that NORML study. What you say makes perfect sense. I see now what Andrewburgess was saying. I would love to know more about this. Not just Benzene, as that is simply a commonly used example, but I'd also like to know about other harmful materials that...
I think I know what the answer here will be, but there's no real way to tell what temp you're pulling off is there. I could be pulling off 180C or 250C. Under 200C and little toxins. Over 200C and we start inhaling some nasty stuff.
I wish I knew what 200C felt like when pulling off the vape...
I'm more concerned now than ever before to have an awareness to stay under the 200C (392F) speed limit. I'll get most of the goodness I'm looking for and very little of the badness.
I'm not one to look at ABV, and I don't care about missing some cannabinoids if it means I also have to ingest...
Makes perfect sense. Consistency is much more important, and adding / subtracting 20 is simple. Very good. Thanks for taking the time to address this.
As I mentioned there is apparently a fine line between initial vaporisation temps and the slightly higher temps at which toxins start being...
Sorry to ask idiot questions, but how does the user get the vape out? A small hose or such? Also, how accurately can this be dialed in (how accurate is the temp readout vs actual temp in the crucible)?
Thanks!
Really amazing. I am definitely interested in a smaller unit with very accurate temps. There is a fine line from releasing fun cannabinoids and releasing toxins. The iolite isn't accurate, and as much as I like the MFLB my breathing is hardly accurate for this.
I'll be getting a Cube
I third the request. I was just over o the General Disussion forum on the thread that discusses the various temps and what effects are felt at various temps. The point being that different temps release different cannabinoids. I'd like to see a similar table that shows the various toxins...
I wouldn't mind seeing this table along side the various bad things and their volatilization temperatures. For example at a certain temp Benzene is released, and so is a specific cannabinoid. You might not want to go there knowig you're also getting the Benzese, whatever.
A table that showed...
If the air is a problem because of drying and material degrading I'll once again get on my soap box for simply pulling a vacuum on the mason jar. A real vacuum, I mean.
For those who have not done this, all I can say is a vacuum will maintain the freshest quality possible for long term storage...
I looked at the mini-vacs and per the manufacturer they don't pull much of a vacuum and don't stay as a vacuum. That's all fine... unless you want the long-term benefits of the relatively O2 free vacuum.
Nice assortment, though!
