I've never noticed any issues like that. Mine still looks like new. But, I would expect to have wear eventually with any grinder, even this one. And I highly doubt that any tiny bit of whatever that could get into my bowl from that sort of normal wear could be damaging in any way worthy of concern.
Hey now...I love my VAS, and keep it close to my heart.
It's a large part of what drives me in this entertaining hobby.
I would be more worried more about my mental health if I somehow lost my VAS. That would be a sad/depressing day 😥
I've had my aluminum BCG for over four years now, and I's still basically in new condition.

I was just going by the design of where the two glass tubes that the air/water bubbles are supposed to go through, and how that just looks like it can't possibly function properly as a recycler. I thought you posted it ironically, making fun of that bullshit.
All I can say is that most GonG connections are not completely airtight.
Also, I'm not sure what the problem is with them being instantly being able to come apart. I don't want my glass connections to stick at all. I even sometimes use beeswax on my glass connections to make sure that they...
Oh wow. You weren't kidding at all when you said collapsed.
Sounds like "destroyed" would be a more accurate term
I'd be interested to hear if it's fixable.
I'm glad to see this thread. Been looking for good sources for quality mood mats with unique graphics that are made out of the good thicker material that looks like recycled rubber/cork, rather than the shitty ones that are made out of that mousepad-like material.
